“Beautiful historic hotel with lots of parking ”

“Breakfast buffet was great. Had fresh waffles. Staff was amazingly sweet, kind, & helpful. Rooms were clean. Parking is a little sparse, but they are able to accommodate a few spots in the next door lot. Overall, great. ”

“Room, beds and linens were clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and good. I had a discounted price plus it was a Monday night so price point was excellent for me.”

“This was a very bare bones hotel. The hallways are totally bare without even a sign to tell you which way your room number is. The towels are terrible (small, rough), the tv is outdated and has a blurry picture. There was no hot water at night (it was back in the morning). The good thing is that it was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. They also gave you large bottles of water and snacks and coffee in the morning. ”

“Room, bathroom and beds were clean. There was a TV, coffee maker, and maybe other stuff -- all of which we did not use, so can't comment. There is a free parking lot outside. The hotel also features a free breakfast. They had 4 hots items, milk, coffee, DIY waffles, yoghurt and other items. Very decent. Both shifts of staff at the reception was friendly and helped us with some Q&A about the area and the hotel. Would stay here again.”

“Not a hotel I would stay at again. It was an older hotel and they tried to update it but not successful. The room had bad lighting and had a weird smell. The hallways smelled of cigarette and pot smoke. The pool was not open and we were looking forward to swimming. Breakfast was ok, probably the best part of our stay. The rooms were clean. I found the hotel to be kind of creepy. ”

“Kind host, generous breakfast. The Santa Barbara room has a NOTICEABLE smell of wet old carpet. We had to keep windows open; If you are sensitive for smells this movie not be the room for you. ”

“Bed was uncomfortable and covered with plastic. Heater didnt work. Barely kept the room warm running constantly. Bad draft through door to outside. Only 5 minutes of hot water. Towels were dirty and smelled of grease. I definitely would not stay here again and dont recommend at all”

It truly feels like a hidden gem—great value for the price, and the property is clean, well-maintained, and nicely renovated. The overall experience was comfortable and pleasant, and everything exceeded my expectations for a budget-friendly stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!”
