“The front desk man was very nice, and my first room smelled like natural gas and he believed me and gave me a new room. I appreciated that. He didn’t give me an attitude or anything. I don’t remember his name but please tell him thank you! I was already stressed out and he made my night better! ”

“Check in was easy, room was very clean and quiet. No USB ports and I forgot to get the wi-fi password. We were only there 12 hours and I would go there again. I loved that my car was right outside the door. Parking spaces are plenty wide. There is a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Everything went just fine.”

“I am super disappointed. The pictures look great online, however, when you arrive, it’s very deceiving and not what is portrayed online. The house is old, dirty and smells of pet urine, plus it lacks the essentials to have a family meal if you are cooking. The owner never checked in during our stay, and we had to advise of the issues upon our departure.”

“Ok hotel but dated. Hallways had lots of scuff marks. The rooms bathtub was in bad shape and the chair had lots of stains.”

“Chose this hotel because it had a hot tub. The “hot” tub wasn’t even warm. It was room temperature at best. We waited to get it because there was a couple with a baby in the hot tub. The room was not clean - sticky soda on bathroom vanity counter and a spot of blood on the bathroom floor behind the door. ”

“Nice overnight stay at a hotel that is well maintained despite the surrounding outlet center being nearly completely shut down. It makes for an extra quiet stay but hope the other businesses recover. Very comfortable bed and clean room with a nice hot breakfast bar though the juices were watered down”

“My room was super quiet and comfortable. There were the usual issues of walls and furniture being a little stained, but that's in every hotel. The breakfast area could definitely benefit from a toaster. The staff were very helpful and responsive.”

“Assisted with my nieces move to the area and looked for a rental that could accommodate a small (12 ft) moving van. During my search I came across this lovely, comfortable cottage. During her collage years at UofI, we have stayed at various VRBO’s in the area. This has become our favorite! The neighborhood was pleasant and welcoming for a walk or run. Beds are comfortable.
