“When we checked in Mike was great and was very friendly. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The only issue we had was the seat in the shower was not securely attached to the wall in the accessible shower. My son was able to stop himself from falling and getting hurt. When I told the girl at the front desk all she would say was ok. There was never an apology or asked if he was hurt, she didn’t seem to care. She was also there in the morning for breakfast and would roll her eyes when...

“Very dated. Room door so heavy you could hardly get it open and roll your suitcase in. They were having water problems - only a trickle out of the shower. The breakfast was not good—hot food was cold and limited options.”

Door to room was not aligned properly, had to forcefully close with weight of body. A lot of traffic from other guests, some shady looking characters. “Our reservation was a last second error, while trying to register for a stay in Decatur, Indiana. Expedia staff tried repeatedly tried to correct this error, but staff at Decatur Illinois never responded. We eventually were charged for a hotel stay we never made”

“Absolutely wonderful, secluded little place to stay! I was a little worried with it being right next to Lowe’s, but I hardly noticed at all! And to be honest I didn’t even know there was a hotel back there! Surrounded by trees, it’s the perfect little hidden getaway! Building was well maintained and super clean, very very quiet inside, lovely gas fire out on the patio. All in all an excellent stay!”
