Cottage a Uvalde

“Normally stay at a cabin at Garner SP, but due to road construction they weren't available, but so glad we found PeachTree cottage. Nice and quiet, set far enough off the road to feel secluded, but a very short drive to Lost Maples SP. Clean and had plenty of gear for cooking. Would definitely come back!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better place to get away and spend some quiet time as a family. We spent a lot of time in the river and explored the small town of Camp Wood. Everyone was welcoming and the shops were great to explore. We even learned pickleball and played every night. We are already working to plan our next trip!”

“We loved the fact that it was isolated away from everyone and everything and all we could hear was nature! We enjoyed the birds singing in the morning and the deer walking around us at night. The night skies are amazing with all the stars shining. We caught some rain which was perfect to watch from the wrap around porch. Only thing I’ll add is the cabin needed a full size refrigerator because I took frozen foods and they only provided a small size fridge.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property. The house is lovely and the host is very accommodating. There is a very small airport runway near the house and my kids loved getting to watch a plane take off. ”

“The family and I loved our stay. The cottage is beautiful, cleaned, peaceful and has toiletries in case you forget something or run out. The property has a lot of space that my 2 & 4 year olds were able to ride their bikes. There were a couple of games to play and we chose to play jenga, enjoyed seeing the cars pass by while eating breakfast on the front porch, later in the day we sat on the back porch and viewed the river.
