“horrible experience checking in , I used to work a desk in a hotel so i have a lot of forgiveness for customers being unsure of the mechanics behind reservations and bookings , and pre-authorizing and charging, and i showed as much grace as i could while I tried to explain that they had already pre-authorized the room on my credit card, agent wouldn't believe me , almost sent me away from the hotel because i couldn't get my card to clear a second payment, until the desk manager appeared and...

“The beds were clean. The whole hotel had a weird vibe to it. It was almost like it was abandoned, and there was nobody around, big portions of it were closed off, and the lighting was dim security doors didn’t work or lock properly. The whole property seemed kind of unkempt with trash, laying around little balls of dust everywhere garbage in the parking lot. It was like it was rundown and they weren’t able to keep up with it. “We loved our stay. We got upgraded to one of the themed rooms for a really great price. The room was kind of cheesy but fun for families with young kids for sure. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Extremely easy access to west edmonton mall, so it was easy to go back to the room and take breaks as needed. We didn't didn't a lot of time at the hotel itself as we were busy with west ed activities, but highly recommend staying here if you can.”
