“Staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was ok. Unfortunately a few too many bugs including one in my bed. Room next to us smoked outside their door and we could smell it in our room even though it is a non smoking facility. It served its purpose of a place to sleep between trips.”

“This motel was awful. I have never stayed ina place so terrible. First when we walked in, it was pitch black and we had to scramble around in the dark to find a light to turn on (the one by the door was broken). We later found out that the one by the bathroom mirror was also broken. Sooooo many things in the room were very rusty like the tub, the iron, and the sink, The toilet seat was messed up and very rough and actually cut my leg. The ironing board was all ripped up and gross, the sheets...

“The room was clean and comfortable, shower was hot, beds OK. We couldn't get a handicap room for my sister but that is my fault for not booking the room correctly. The complimentary breakfast was disappointing. Went to Chic-Fil-A instead. Also, no elevator in the building so my sister had to hoof it up the stairs more than once. Will not go back.”

“My husband and I had a great stay at the the Microtel hotel in Opelika. The front desk staff was courteous and efficient. The room was clean and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was better than most of the complimentary breakfasts offered by hotels. All for a good price. We will definitely be back!”

“The property was I’m excellent condition and the accommodations were okay. However upon our arrival the room we booked two months I’m advance with two queen beds was not provided and we were “upgraded at a discount” to a room that did not meet our travel needs with only one bed and a pull out couch (basically they gave our room to one else).
