“Truly underwhelming experience all around. We paid over $700 per night and were like 🤔 whaaaat? Our room was good enough I guess. Lower level, no view. All the rooms are attached to the main building so you don’t have any real solo space to come and go. Things are a little run down. The “chef inspired appetizer” we got our first night was a cold chicken Ceasar salad with dressing and croutons from a package. No actual ocean views. We stayed at Heritage House last year and it’s 1,000 times...

“This is a nice cozy place. Clean and comfy. It will be helpful to have some anti-slippery mat in the bath tub. Overall, it is a nice place and we will stay here again next time in the area. ”

“We wish we could have stayed longer. The property was beautiful and location was perfect after a long day. It has plenty of amenities and the breakfast was a perfect way to start a long day of hiking. ”

“We left our food in the take out bag it came in, picked up but not to fill the trash. Some of the food did end up in the trash. Both the trash can and bag of food, as well as the chair and table were completely covered in ants! Kind of a bummer to wake up to at 5:30am!”

“It was a mother/daughter working weekend. Perfect location. We were at the JD House, queen guesthouse with a fireplace and were able to park right in front. We missed the wine and cheese which was disappointing, we’ll look forward to it next time. I We usually visit once a year so we will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely stay. ”

“Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat.”

“The room was as clean as it could be, and the laundry seemed clean. However, that is the only nice thing I can say. The rooms are falling apart, the TV did not work, and the whole place was littered with trash and cigarette butts were EVERYWHERE. Not to mention the parking lot filled with homeless people and drug addicts all night, yelling and cussing. Finally, in three days, no one even bothered to pick up any of the dog crap from the pathetic patch of gravel they called the pet area. Oh yeah,...
