A charming three bedroom, two bath, elegantly appointed home offering beautiful interiors and huge sun decks. Amuse yourself for hours enjoying the ever changing vista’s of one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Take in all the harbour and cruise ship activity, dramatic sunsets and the lights of the city and Lion’s Gate Bridge.
Inside, the gracious cross-hall living and dinning rooms, feature hardwood floors, picture windows. The living room hosts a gas fireplace, custom wall- mounted 46” sharp Aquos HDRV, PVR, Sony audio, designer seating and glass and iron tables. The recently renovated kitchen, features premium stainless appliances, custom cabinets and granite countertops. Fully stocked down to the spice rack with premium cookware, kitchen linens and all the cooking and entertaining essentials.

Ideally suited to a family or for two or three couples, you will find ample space and luxury for everyone to unwind. Three generous bedroom laid out as follows: the master bedroom features on ObusForm king bed and adjacent the second bedrooom features two single beds. On the lower level is a three piece bath and a generous third bedroom with a queen bed. All bedding is new, hotel quality, minimum 500 thread count, 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, luxury duvet’s and premium bath linens. Adjacent is a freshly painted newly carpeted separate family room with a Sony 40” flat screen HDTV, PVR, Song surround sound system, designer Queen Sofa Bed, ottoman and leather recliners. Kids can unwind or take in a movie in the family room, while grown- ups lounge in the luxury cross- hall living and dining room or on either of the front sun decks.
Also features a fully enclosed back yard with covered BBQ station. A full laundry room with high efficiency machines offers convenience and ease when it’s time to pack up.

The view from the living room and deck is spectacular across Burrard Inlet to Kitsilano and Point Grey. The house is in walking distance to many coffee shops / bars / restaurants in the upscale Ambleside neighbourhood of West Vancouver. Park Royal mall is a short distance away. The hostess was very responsive to any questions we had. The weather was quite warm for our weekend stay in June - a portable AC unit was provided in the front living room (which has the great view but also full sunshine during the day). Fans were available in all the bedrooms to cool things down a bit. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The downstairs TV room has cable tv and a VCR, the TV in the upstairs living room has netflix and streaming services. Good location, good value, good views, good communication with owner.

Wonderful home with amazing views!

This house was perfect for our family (2 adults and 4 teens) and close to many of the sights we planned to visit. Lots of great restaurants in West Van, just down the street, and a great park on the beach.

Wedding Weekend

My family attended a wedding on the north shore. This location was easy to get around. Close to shopping and close to Stanley Park. Not to mention the great view from the house. This is a well maintained older home. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location

Within 5-15 min to capilano bridge and grouse mountain. Lots of good eating nearby as well. House was clean, had plenty of amenities, bed was comfy and the view was spectacular.

Gem with a view

Charming house with a great view; pretty, upscale neighbourhood. The house has a few minor quirks due to it’s vintage (limited electrical outlets) but it’s well-appointed for a family vacation home, and I enjoyed some of the remaining original architectural details. We all enjoyed our stay and the city!

Great location, great views and house was clean. The portable AC does not adequately cool the house and it was hot at night. The main deck could use some attention, some rotten wood and the umbrella is not usable. Manager was responsive when I called about the AC and house being hot.

This place was perfect for us

This location is perfect for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids or for an adult family (no more than 5 people). We had four adults (3 siblings, one parent), and it was exactly what we needed. Comfortable, location was perfect (you need a car). The house was clean, the host was responsive, and the views were amazing. I loved how we were able to drive in and out of the city and around the surrounding areas with ease. You are close to a very upscale mall and a whole foods. Beaches near by. Our hike at Capilano was amazing. The food is wonderful (don't forget Richmond).

Lovely views!

What a view!

A group of five friends attending a conference in Vancouver stayed here to avoid hotel rooms and the traffic of downtown. What a great decision! Unfortunately, it rained most of the five days that we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the incredible views from the porch, but we did sit at the corner windows many, many times just staring out at the scene in front of us. The house was clean, well stocked, and perfect for the number of us. Maya, the property owner/manager, was always responsive when we did have a question, but we didn't have much reason to reach out as there were no issues. It was a short walk to restaurants, shopping (both food and clothing), and coffee shops. When we did have to go downtown, it was a 10 minute Uber ride. I love West Van, and I would highly recommend this house and the location for any trip to Vancouver.

Great views but ...

The views from Beach House were wonderful. From the living room, the dining room and the deck, it was so relaxing just looking at Lions Gate Bridge and the harbor! Enjoyed Park Royal mall as well. What is mentioned in the property's description is correct. However, out of concern for future guests who may have physical challenges, some details should be added. I had emailed and inquired in advance about stairs, which are challenging for one in our group. I was assured that the master, kitchen and living room are upstairs, so there is no need to go downstairs. Yet, we were not cautioned that there are 15 steps to the front door (the picture shows the top 5 steps). The stairs to go downstairs has a handrail, but nothing for the first 4 or 5 steps. The descriptions mention a tub and also a shower downstairs; however, in all fairness, a picture would have shown that it is such a narrow shower. Maya was apparently out of town and had to call me to respond to any emails. However, when we lost TV reception and a code showed up, I emailed and then called her, but never got a response. We finally did trouble shooting on our own. She never responded. We were also told that the fireplace has manually been turned off, because the house was being heated already. That was disappointing, because fireplaces do add a wonderful touch at the end of the day. All in all, a nice neighborhood, awesome views, but it would be appreciated if the owner could be more open about things.

Great location

My husband, son, daughter in law and I stayed in this property for a week at Xmas. Overall, our stay was enjoyable. We were very busy with Xmas social activities so the only meals we had at the house, were breakfast. Kitchen was suitably stocked for that. The location is excellent to access the highway, or to get downtown. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Amazing house, beautiful views

I grew up in this neighborhood and it was lovely to stay for a long weekend with my family. Close to Park Royal, outdoor recreation, and easy to get to Lions Gate. The house was super clean and in excellent repair. We didn’t encounter any issues or concerns. My kids loved finding the toys downstairs.

Beautiful stay in west Vancouver.

Lovely west Vancouver home with great views from the patio. The home was very comfortable and spacious. It was a little warm this time of year, but the house has an a/c unit in the main living room and several fans were provided. We spent almost the entire time exploring the city so by the evening things cooled off nicely… perfect to enjoy amazing views of the city. The neighborhood offers shopping and restaurants. There is a shopping area with nice grocery store within walking distance at the bottom of the hill. The host responded very swiftly. Wonderful stay

Perfect location with superb view

This property is perfectly located, close to lots of out-of-town activities and less than 30 minutes to downton Vancouver. It is a quiet neighbourhood a few minutes walking distance to Park Royal Mall and beautiful Ambleside Village with its beach, seawall, shops and restaurants. The property is perfect for a family stay (4 adults and 2 young children in our party). Maya was always responsive to our needs and very easy to deal with. We had a fantastic 2 week stay.

Charming House with Magnificent View

We spent just under two weeks at this charming house on Sentinel Hill in West Vancouver. It's on a quiet street, with quick access to major thoroughfares, so it is easy to get to Lion's Gate, up the coast to Squamish, or over to Highway 1. It's located within walking distance of Park Royal, which has a movie theatre, restaurants and grocery shopping, as well as a number of retail stores. It's also easy walking to Ambleside, and the West Vancouver Centennial Seawalk. The house is well set up and comfortable, but what makes it extraordinary is the view from the living room and dining room over the water. The top of the garage is also a deck which faces the water. You can see from Lion's Gate Bridge, Stanley Park, and all the way out to Lighthouse Park. The house has a bit of an extra view, because it is on a hill both north to south, and east to west, so the houses in front and to the left are lower. The front and backyard are landscaped, and the backyard has a lovely seating area. Our family loved the location, the house and the view. Maya was a pleasure to deal with, and very responsive to any inquiries. We highly recommend Maya and the house!
