Alarm went off in the room at 5 or 6 am. I didnt set it. Woke me up on sunday morning for nothing. Tub wouldnt drain. The blinds wouldnt open so stuck without daylight. Phone system didnt work properly. Bed mattress hard and uncomfortable...toilet paoer in toilet almost imposdible to get at while on the can. Way overpriced.

First room was to have a pull out couch and it was the size of a small chair. No human over the age of 10 could sleep on it. Behind the couch was a mouse trap. Second room had a full pull out but again mouse trap behind couch, and when we moved it there was definite squeeking sounds, staff said they investigated and established it was springs, I’ve heard mice and springs and they do not sound the same. Third room was sufficient and had a full pull out, but again mouse traps behind couch. Coastal health will be contacted for follow up.

Conveniently located right off highway exit and close to supermarket. Property and room was clean, beds were pretty comfortable, wifi worked, pool and hot tub were actually open. On the other hand, the noise from the freeway was noticeable at night. Smaller nits include electrical outlet in bathroom didn't seem to work, empty conditioner dispenser in shower, and qtips were somehow wet even though they were in a plastic package.

Overall appearance and cleanliness of the property was good. A couple things I couldnt get past though were the musty odor that hits you heavily as you entered all 3 rooms that we had reserved. Im sure replacing/updating the carpeting in the rooms would help. Some of the linens including towels had stains on them. Staff all seemed very friendly which is always nice to see!

The room was clean and is centrally located in Surrey. If you plan on staying more than 1 or 2 nights, our room did not have a dresser so storage of clothing is not the best. There is a closet and some hangers but no way to store other clothing.
