Amazing Canal View - rent Venice Apartment

  • This modern and brand new apartment is located in the heart of Venice, Dorsoduro district, near Campo Santa Margherita one of the most favourite squares from Venetian people. It is next to the famous Banksy painting.
    Both the apartment and the building have been recently restored.
    Easily reachable from the train station, the bus station, the airport and the maritime station.
    The apartment (at the second floor of a building overlooking a beautiful little campo) has two bedrooms, one double with a king size bed and the other can be prepared as twin or double, two bathrooms one with shower and one with bath and a comfortable spacious sunny living room. The house offers all the services you expect and the kitchen is very well-equipped.
    Windows overlooking two lovely canals offer a breathtaking typical Venetian glimpse.

    In the surroundings there are restaurants, bars, supermarkets and a daily market with flowers, vegetables and fish. More of a spot for locals than for tourists, the zone feels far from the mask shops and other touristic areas of Venice.

    Dorso Duro is a very Venetian area and at the same time full of art and nice places: bars and taverns for aperitifs, restaurants for dinner. Just behind the house there is one of the most famous pastry shops in Venice: Tonolo.
    The apartment is close to the train station (S. Lucia) and the bus station (Piazzale Roma), where you can find also car hire agencies and parkings. Ask to the owner for the best place to drop off your car. You can reach the apartment by foot, by watertaxi that would leave or pick up you in front of the apartment, or by waterbus: the nearest vaporetto (ACTV public service water transport) stop it's S. TOMA'.

    The Rental Fee is inclusive of sheets, towels, welcoming service and wifi connection.
    Please, see all the rules of the house for any additional cost. For check-in before 3pm, ask. check out is at 10 am.
    The apartment is at second floor (about 22 steps). The living room, faces the Campo San Pantalon and the Rio Novo canal.

Perfect for my family

With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the. Venice apartment was perfect for my family. The location also was great—many shops and restaurants nearby.

Wonderful 2 bedroom apartment

The apartment is just as described. It is spacious, clean, and great for our group of 4 adults! There were lots of suggestions provided for nearby restaurants, markets, etc.

Fantastic spot in the heart of Venice

Excellent location in Venice, central to everything. Well stocked kitchen if you want to eat at home. Nice master bedroom and the second bedroom was great for our two adult sons. Having two bathrooms was ver handy for a family of four. I would highly recommend Aglaia’s apartment!

Loved it!

Nice large space, great location. Hosts were super responsive and helpful. Water seemed to spray or leak out of the tub, but this seems like a normal thing for showers in Italy, and the bathroom was so big! FYI, there's no lift and you have to go up maybe 20 stairs, but it was no problem for us. We loved it here! Grazie!

Perfect apartment for a couple with two children

Staying at Aglaia’s apartment worked out well for our family of 4. Irene met us on arrival and was very helpful. Aglaia gave us lots of useful information too. The apartment is, as mentioned in most reviews, nicely located, close to shops & good restaurants but yet away from the hussle & bussle of the touristic areas.

I brought my two twenty something daughters and my sister to Venice and stayed at this property. We had the very best time. The location was perfect: out our door numerous restaurants, pharmacie and grocery store. Our hostess helped us arrange a cooking session, which was fabulous. Be ready to walk... Venice was just magical.

Fantastic Apartment

We had an amazing stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean, is modern, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We loved having a beautiful view over the canals and there was always something to watch out of the window, although it was still very quiet at night so we weren't disturbed at all. Check in was very smooth and it was nice to have someone meet us, show us into the apartment and tell us a bit about the area, where the shops were etc. The location is great, it's not touristy but it's still within easy walking distance of the tourist sites.

Beautiful apartment

Was in a great location, clean, spacious, nicely decorated. The AC worked well. Our only complaints are that the mattress was too firm and uncomfortable, and we had to pay a €60 'cleaning fee' for a 3 night stay. When you stay in a hotel, you dont pay extra for cleaning

Not as described lots of steps to climb not the photos of the property it’s photos out of the window

We stayed at this property because of the washer and dryer we had spent 10 days in Italy. We were going on a cry out of Venice so we need to laundry some of our cloths. The washer and dryer were deactivated so we coolant use them. 😢😢

Excellent Apartment in Venice.

This may have been my favorite unit of the 4 we rented in all of Italy - not even including the location, which is ideal. Easy access from the vaporetto and in a great lively, central neighborhood (near the University). Campo Santa Margherita nearby is fantastic and there is a grocery, bars, and cafes. Our favorite gelato (Grom) was a short walk further. We had luggage and the short, level walk to the unit (minus one bridge of stairs and the stairs up to the unit) was pretty easy even in the high heat while we were there. Speaking of, the air-conditioning was so helpful and worked great. Communication with Aglaia was very easy (WhatsApp is really helpful for Italy travel) as was check-in (by Irene who was so friendly and with great English, helpful as our Italian is not so great) and there were no issues after we departed (another unit accused us of damage we didn't cause). Everything was clean and the apartment felt very genuine. We especially appreciated all the instructions for the unit clearly laid out in a binder. There are 2 full baths, one is quite large and has a washer/dryer we used which worked great. Great restaurants very close by also. I would definitely stay here on a (hopefully soon) return trip to Venice. Thank you Aglai!

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Venice

I felt in love with this apartment, was spacious, well-equipped, had good wi-fi, air conditioning and was in a good location, away from the crowds but in walking distance to everywhere. Aglaia's apartment was perfect for my visit in Venice. One of the bedroom and the living room overlooked two different canals and a lively campo, filled in the evenings with students, yet when the windows were closed, all outside noise ended. I enjoyed the Venetian zone and the energy of the people in the streets. I particularly loved the church of San Pantalon, that has on its ceiling the biggest canvas in the world, the pastry shop just behind and the restaurant close by. Aglaia gave me great tips for arriving by car and she cared of me. I recommend this host and her apartment, I hope to come back here very soon!

Spotless apartment, all modernised to a high standard, the A/C works well, internet is fast.. Super location, really an amazing Venician view from the windows. There´s a stop of the boat "vaporetto" very close to the apartment, anyway it´s easy to reach the train station and the central bus station even by walk. Away form the crowds, yet within easy distance to everything, in particular to several great places to eat or have a drink, even at night. Aglaia is an excellent host, with very good communication and suggestions, before and during our rental. The check in was very smooth. Excellent!

Amazing views

We loved staying in this apartment. It had amazing canal views out of the living room and a bedroom! We loved watching the boats go by. The hosts were responsive and the place was clean and comfortable. Would happily stay here again.

Awesome location and spacious apartment

My family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) absolutely loved our stay at Aglaia’s property in Venice! She was really nice to work with in advance of our trip. The check in was easy as Irene met us and showed up the apartment. She was super friendly and helpful. The apartment was even bigger than I expected and in great shape. We all loved the location because it was close to everything, but we were out of the main tourist areas. There is a square right across the street with many restaurants, shops, and bars. We walked from the train station (15 minutes) and after our stay walked 10 mins to catch a cab to the airport. Just wanted to share in case it helps fellow travelers; it was all quite easy. Thanks Aglaia for sharing your wonderful property!

Convenient and comfortable

People passing over the bridge were fun to watch and boats were busy on the canal. San Pantalon was open and peaceful. The students gathered on the other side of the bridge for conversation and songs. Great to be in Venice and be in their community
