Fantastic host and location

We stayed here with our family and the host was fantastic and very helpful. The location was great - close to everything but far enough that it was quiet. The place is nicer than the images!

Wonderful host

Host met us at the airport boat shuttle and walked us to the apartment, then was extremely helpful showing us around the place as well as provided a map with various things around Venice. Apartment was very clean, great location and had everything we needed.

Lovely apartment!

We had the privilege to stay in this lovely apartment on our short trip to Venice. It is exactly as pictured. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were great, modern bathroom and kitchen and the air conditioning worked wonderfully. Super cute balcony covered with a grape arbor for having a glass of wine in the evening overlooking a quiet Calle. The street in front was quiet with local shops and restaurants. Within walking distance of many popular attractions, too. Serena texted me with instructions to get to the area from the airport and met us at the vaporetto dock for the short walk to the apartment. I would love to stay there again!

2 Weeks in Venice

I stayed in Venice for 2 weeks, part of the time with adult friends and part with family including a 10 year old. Everyone loved and enjoyed the location and the apartment, including the beautiful balcony shaded by the arms and leaves of a 100 year old grape vine growing up from the property next door. There is one flight of stairs from the front door to the floor with the bedrooms and another flight to the living room, kitchen and balcony We had three to four people living there at a time and having one bathroom was no problem. The location was handy for all of Venice and the vaporetto stop was only a few doors away from the apartment. Late at night it was only a very short walk from either the S. Angelo or Accademia vaporetta stops. The apartment is stocked with umbrellas and carts to pull groceries back from shopping, coffee, detergent for the washing machine and such. Our host could not have been more helpful, particularly quickly answering various questions before we arrived. We highly recommend this property and would stay there again.

Appartamento ampio, ottima posizione si raggiunge in 15 minuti sia Piazza San Marco, Teatro La Fenice e Ponte Rialto, vicino al Ponte dell'Accademia. Vicino a vari ristoranti e bar, in una zona tranquilla dove si trovano anche dei negozi e Gallerie d'Arte particolari. Proprietaria molto gentile e precisa. Sicuramente esperienza da ripetere.

Perfect!

A perfect place to stay when visiting Venice. We have just got back from a week staying in Serena's apartment / house and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful city. The location of the apartment couldn't be better - a very quiet side street just off the Grand Canal, a few minutes walk from the Accademia bridge and only a short walk to San Marco and the Rialto. The apartment was very comfortable for four of us ( two adults and our two teenage daughters) and we enjoyed spending time there after a busy day sightseeing. The beds are extremely comfortable, all the rooms are spacious and the shower is excellent - plenty of hot water. Having the dishwasher and the coffee machine were welcome extras and we very much appreciated the extra touches that Serena included such as the coffee pods, the bottle of Prosecco on arrival and the oil and other necessary basics in the kitchen. Serena's instructions on how to get from the airport to the centre and meeting us at the Vaporetto stop, even though we arrived late in the evening and our flight was delayed, was very much appreciated. The information she gave us when we got to the apartment about where to visit and how to get around helped us plan our days and ensure we saw all of the places we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again.Thank you, Serena.

Wohnen wie die Dogen in der Stadt der Träume

Wir waren bereits mehrfach in Venedig und haben auch schon in schönen Wohnungen gewohnt, aber diese hier übertrifft alle Erwartungen! Hinter einer einfachen Wohnungstür aus Holz wartet eine traumhaft schöne Wohnung, die sich auf zwei Etagen erstreckt. Im Erdgeschoss finden sich Stiefel und Regenschirme für das bekannte Aqua Alta. Danach steigt man über eine mit einem roten Teppich belegte Treppe in den ersten Stock, in dem ein geräumiges, liebevoll eingerichtetes Badezimmer (mit Fliesen in dunkelblau mit kleinen Sternen und großen Fischen) sowie zwei Schlafräume mit einem Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten zu finden sind. Die Schlafzimmer sind in blauer bzw. brauner Seide gehalten und die Atmosphäre nimmt jeden Besucher sofort in seinen Bann. Dann steigt man in den zweiten Stock, in dem sich ein großes Wohnzimmer und eine bestens ausgestattete Küche befindet. Alles sehr schön, gepflegt und sauber! Ein weiterer Höhepunkt erwartet den Gast dieser bezaubernden Wohnung aber immer noch. Vom Wohnzimmer aus gelangt man durch eine gläserne Tür auf einen kleinen Balkon mit einem Tisch und zwei Stühlen. Hier kann man sich vortrefflich von den langen Wegen durch diese bezaubernde Stadt erholen und eine wundervolle Aussicht und Stille genießen. Die Vermieterin Serena kümmert sich sehr gut um ihre Gäste, sorgt für Sauberkeit (einmal in der Woche kommt eine Putzfrau) und Wohlbefinden und fragt auch während des Aufenthalts nach, ob sie etwas für ihre Gäste tun kann. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und dann wissen wir schon, wo wir wohnen möchte. Bei Serena in ihrer wunderschönen Wohnung, die nicht nur fünf Sterne sondern einen Sternenregen wert ist. Great Apartment for Exploring Venice

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Venice jun June. We had 2 adults, 2 children, both 10, for our stay. The location was in a residential area and very quiet to return to each night, but it is close enough to all of the major sights for Venice. It was a 10 minute walk to St. Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge. Our kids loved exploring the streets and alleyways around the apartment and Venice in general. Serena was a great host, meeting us at the alliguna stop, walking us to the apartment, showing us everything in the apartment, and giving us an orientation of the city. Checkout was easy, leaving the key and locking up. Make sure to read up on the water transit system, it's easy to use and there is a stop around the corner from the apartment.

Tout était parfait pour 2 adultes et 2 adolescents

Tout était parfait : l'emplacement dans Venise à 50 M de la station San Samuele (près de la Place San Marco, de l'Académie et du Rialto) et pourtant très, très calme. L'appartement est vraiment très agréable et d'une extrême propreté. La terrasse ombragée est un must pour prendre le petit-déjeuner et la literie hyper confortable. Un grand merci pour les cadeaux de bienvenue et la gentillesse de Séréna qui nous a accueillis. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Perfect Apartment in Venice!

We loved our stay at Serena's apartment in Venice! Her home is so beautifully decorated and the location was perfect. The apartment is within close walking distance to every thing but still in an area that feels private. The beds were so comfortable and the apartment so clean. I would definitely return there if I am ever back in Venice.

Perfect apartment in Venice!

We had the most wonderful stay in Venice at the apartment - fabulous location within easy walking distance of all major sites and the vaporetto stop is on your doorstep. Serena was a wonderful host all her restaurant recommendations were outstanding. The apartment was immaculate with all home comforts along with a wonderful coffee machine. Don't hesitate just book your stay here the apartment is huge with a wonderful kitchen loungeroom and terrace we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back!!

Spacious apartment in quiet but convenient central location.

This is spacious 2 bedroom flat one minute from the San Samuele vaperetto stop where we were met and shown to the apartment. The apartment is well furnished and eqipped. It is 3 minutes to Campo San Stefano with a range of cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Great apartment near it all in Venice

Beautiful stay in Venice

Serena waited for us at the vaparetto stop, we were delayed and got there 11/2 hours later than anticipated. She was warm and friendly and walked with us to the apartment. The apartment is exactly as seen in the pictures. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and tea. There were plenty of dishes and cookware too! The living room and master bedroom are spacious, the second bedroom is comfortable. All beds were quite comfortable. There is a lovely balcony. Having coffee out there in the morning made us feel as though we were true Venetians The location was perfect. We were able to get everywhere we wanted to go with little hassle. We really enjoyed the quiet small osterias nestled along all the streets.

Lovely, Convenient, Spacious!!!

We visited Venice in April and discovered this is the best time of the year to visit this spectacular city!! We found this fabulous apartment on VRBO and we were not disappointed. The apartment is surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and there were options for pillows, extra blankets and plenty of storage so we did not have to live out of our suitcases. The bathroom is sparkling clean and everything works well. The shower is a bit tight but functional and not out of the ordinary for a European bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed and very functional. The sofas in the living room are comfortable and both are fold out beds. We spent most of our time outside on the gorgeous terrace!! Someone came in to clean during our stay and did a great job. The whole apartment is very clean, very comfortable and very Venetian!!! The location was a few short steps to the San Samuela water bus stop and very near several shops, a grocery, restaurants and coffee shops. We felt very safe and secure in the apartment. We have no complaints or regrets regarding renting this fabulous apartment. Serena was very responsive to our communications prior to our stay and she made our check in very convenient for us. And we absolutely fell in love with Venice!!

Quiet and comfortable

Serena was great. We got in at the same time as another of her guests so she sent her assistant to meet us at the water taxi stop. There was a closer stop than the one she told us to get off on, but we think it was a timing issue. Not a huge deal but we were surprised to find a much closer stop the following day. Serena showed us around the apartment, went over some suggestions on the map, allowed us to check in much earlier than the time specified and we were able to leave our luggage at the door the day of departure so we could enjoy our last day in venice not lugging our luggage around. We loved the location, it was quiet and quaint and close to water taxi stop. Less than 10 min walk to St. Marks Square and a short walk to many restaurants, outdoor cafes, etc. We loved Venice! The apartment was perfect for what we were needing. We were never there except to sleep and shower. We never used the upstairs (kitchen/living room), we were always on the go. The location was great, far enough away to feel like you weren't a tourist, but close enough to do all the tourist things.
