Starfish 2 .

  • Grazioso appartamento, spazioso, dotato di tutti i confort,  ricavato da un recupero architettonico di una antica struttura industriale, nelle vicinanze del Molino Stucky in una cornice suggestiva e tranquilla quale è l'Isola della Giudecca.  L'appartamento si sviluppa su due piani e si compone di 2 camere da letto, con la possibilità di ospitare comodamente 4/5 persone. Dispone di due bagni, 1 camera matrimoniale, 1 camera con due letti singoli, 1 divano letto, cucina attrezzata, lavanderia con lavatrice,  cassaforte, salotto con TV e WIFI gratuito,  climatizzazione in ogni stanza e, grazie alle linee moderne dell'arredamento, riesce a dare una calda accoglienza in ogni stanza. E' situato a circa 150 m. dal pontile della Palanca, nella stessa zona sono presenti negozi di vario genere e simpatici ristorantini, il tutto al di fuori dei grossi flussi turistici e quindi i nostri ospiti potranno immergersi davvero nella venezianità più autentica.

Peaceful sanctuary away from crowds but BYOT (toiletries)Apartment is clean and well kept. Upstairs bathroom is TINY, especially for adults. If you're staying for more than a couple of nights, you'll need more than the miniscule soaps and shampoo. We ran to the store for more soap and were rationing TP by the end of our stay (4 rolls total for 4 people over 5 nights). Facial tissue would have been nice. AC works great and it was wonderful to have a separate unit for upstairs. Location wonderful.

Very lovely apartment

We stayed for 4 nights in the Starfish 2 Apartment as two adult friends, the apartment could accommodate a family of 4 or may be 5. It's well designed, functional and aesthetically to a good standard, it feels light and airy. Very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, very comfortable beds and quiet area. Kitchen is well equipped.Our host Cristina was so helpful, met us off the Alilaguna Blue boat when we arrived from the airport, information clearly provided, and Cristina also researched details about a vegan/vegetarian restaurant for us. We liked staying on Giudecca, a nice and more quiet place to start and end the day, and easy to travel from with the Vaporetto boats. Already talking about a next trip, and would always choose Starfish apartments again.

Hübsche Ferienwohnung, perfekt gelegen, nahe bei der Vaporettohaltestelle Pallanca.

Wohnung mit gutem Zuschnitt, hell, sauber und freundlich. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Alle interessanten Ziele in Venedig und der Lagune in kürzester Zeit mit dem Vaporetto erreichbar. Die Vermieter wohnen in der Nähe und sind jederzeit ansprechbar. Gerne würden wir immer wieder dorthin zurückkehren.

Appartamenti carinissimi e ben attrezzati in posizione strategica per visitare Venezia..

Servizio impeccabile e un'accoglienza che è stata subito calorosa ed efficace. Ancora prima di partire Cristina ci ha fornito informazioni utili per il nostro viaggio e molto gentilmente suo cognato è venuto ad accoglierci alla fermata del vaporetto con sua moglie. Gli appartamenti, ricavati in un'antica falegnameria, sono funzionali, originali e molto cosy. I proprietari si sono dimostrati gentilissimi e disponibilissimi, ma con gradevole discrezione. Abbiamo molto apprezzato il soggiorno alla Giudecca che ogni sera ci ha permesso di staccare dalla tensione turistica di Venezia che in più è bellissima vista dalla banchIna . Grazie anche ai consigli dei proprietari, abbiamo scoperto dei ristorantini sull'isola dove gustare delle specialità locali e persino una buona pizza napoletana. Da non mancare: un aperitivo sulla terrazza dell'hotel Hilton (giusto a qualche metro dagli appartamenti stella marina ) dove, oltre a ottimi cocktails, è possibile profittare di una vista panoramica straordinaria su Venezia. Torneremo volentieri!

Angenehmes Wohnen in schöner Atmosphäre

Wir (4 Erwachsene) haben uns in diesem Appartement sehr wohlgefühlt. Es ist freundlich großzügig und praktisch ausgestattet, sehr ruhig, im Wohnviertel der Giudecca, fern der Touristenströme, aber trotzdem gut gelegen, und nur wenige Minuten (mit Vaporetto) vom Piazza San Marco entfernt. Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Comfortable apartment in Giudecca

We stayed at this apartment over the New Year. Venice was cold, but the apartment was very warm and cosy! We felt that we had made a very good choice with this apartment. Christina and her husband were very helpful and responded to any questions we had very quickly. Although across the lagoon from Venice, it was very easy to catch a public service boat from Palanca, a few minutes stroll away. The furniture and accessories are of high quality and the accommodation is perfect for two couples sharing or a family of 4/5. There is a supermarket and restaurants close by. Highly recommended!

A Perfect Stay!

When we arrived at our Guidecca property, Cristina was there to welcome us. Our apartment wasn't quite ready so Cristina allowed us to store our bags as we enjoyed our first Italian lunch at the waterfront. We were happy to discover restaurants and even a 'Co-op' grocery store nearby. Our property was clean, fully stocked with kitchen supplies, (even coffee), and we were happy to have the use of the washing machine on site. We were provided with a comfortable place to return to after our busy days of walking and enjoying the sights of Venice. The water bus was very close for day transport and we loved the evening peacefulness of our apartment and community. Cristina always shared a smile and asked about our stay, and her husband shared information about local sights and restaurants not to be missed. We highly recommend this apartment, and if/when returning to Venice, we would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing apartment in perfect location for a peaceful visit

We were a family of 4 (with adult children) and we loved staying there, in such a beautiful space on such a peaceful island. Public transportation was easy and fun to use, and we enjoyed many quieter parts of the region, as well as easy proximity to the most famous sights. The apartment is absolutely lovely.

Nous avons passé un séjour tout à fait agréable dans l'appartement de Cristina.Il est parfaitement aménagé, parfaitement tenu. La literie est tout à fait confortable. Nous avions tout ce qui nous était nécessaire, et au delà car Cristina est extrêmement attentive et disponible. Quand nous sortions de l'appartement nous avions le plaisir de voir Venise dans sa belle lumière, ce que nous apprécions sur la Giudecca. Prime de plaisir à ajouter: la gentillesse naturelle et spontanée de Cristina, qui donne l'impression d'être reçus chez une amie

Great location and very easy hosts

This apartment is brand new building located on a separate island across from Venice. It's a perfect place to stay away from the touristy Venice. Easy to commute to and late check in was acceptable for our late night check in which rate in Venice area. High recommend but being extra cash for a tax fee. Thank you to the host, you made it a very pleasant stay and experience.

Amazing host!

What a great experience in Venice, the host and the flat were amazing. The flat was clean and the kitchen was stocked with some essentials. The host gave us restaurant suggestions and booked us a water taxi back to the airport upon our departure. We hope to return again soon.

Quiet apartment with everything in great location

Cristina's apartment in Giudecca is like a slice of the real Venice before (if there ever was such a time) the hordes of tourists arrived. The waterbus pulls up, you walk a few hundred meters past salumeria and bakery and greengrocer and a good number of nice restaurants and bars. The apartment is off the main street, quiet, but close enough to the waterbus station that you are connected to everywhere. Cristina was a brilliant host, saving us at the end when there was a sudden waterbus strike, and getting us a private taxi to the railway. We would absolutely stay here again. The kids particularly liked their room with the hidey-space behind the beds. Five stars!

Peaceful, clean, comfortable, well located apartment, ideal for exploring mainland Venice.

Cristina and Iginio's apartment is located in a peaceful part of Guidecca with easy access to restaurants and shops as well as the nearby Palanca vaporetto station. Modern and stylish, the apartment is very quiet, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and plenty of seating. Cristina was an efficient, friendly and helpful hostess throughout our trip.

Away from the Crowds

This apartment was a quiet oasis a short distance from the sea of tourists in Venice. Even so, the main tourist sites are easily accessible. The extra space was a welcome feature for our 3 adults allowing us to have needed alone time. We appreciated the cleanliness, equipment and prompt return of our damage deposit. It would be our first choice when we return.

A lovely place in a beautiful city

Our three nights in the “Stella Marina 2“ apartment were most comfortable. Christina & Iginio were welcoming and helpful, and the apartment was exactly as advertised – no surprises. We recommend staying here. We are three adults (one aged 85) and two kids (7 & 9), and the rooms were perfect for our needs. The children loved their room, as there is a ‘secret hideout’ space in it. The kitchen was perfect for any meals, and there are two grocery stores on the island (a pleasant 5-10 minute walk away…with stunning views). Both primary boat options (http://actv.avmspa.it/en/content/water-bus-service-timetable-0 and http://www.alilaguna.it/en) have docks nearby. We opted for the ACTV multi-day pass, and had easy access to Piazzale Roma (trains, buses, car park, etc) and St. Marks, The Grand Canal, etc.

Angenehmes Wohnen fern der Touristenströme aber zentral

Die Wohnung ist freundlich eingerichtet und großzügig geschnitten wie praktisch ausgestattet, die Lage ist ruhig, die zentralen Orte in Venedig sind trotzdem rasch zu erreichen. Ein guter Ankerplatz für eine Woche Venedig erkunden !

Wonderful experience in Giudecca!

We enjoyed our stay at Stella Marina on Giudecca island, just a few minutes away from busy Venice via vaporetto. The apartment was just as advertised, no surprises. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were well suited for us and our adult daughter. There was a few restaurants and a supermarket nearby on Giudecca, which came in handy. The view of Venice from Giudecca was beautiful. We would recommend this apartment to all our friends that would be visiting Venice.
