“Great option in Tucson. Friendly staff that cares. Nice amenities, including a terrific gym. The property is a 1980’s design, and will need some updating in the years to come, but it’s all very well maintained. About 20 min to UofA if visiting a child. Only criticism would be the lack of a concierge. We were there over a long, and very high occupancy weekend, so it would have been a very nice amenity (eg. They put us in an upstairs room overlooking the pool, which was nice, but there were a lot of flying bugs in the room and we could not stay there. “The stay at the property started out on a bad note. The staff person at the check in counter was both rude and uninviting. No smile, no Hello welcome. If I was the manager of the property, I would have fired him on the spot.”

They didn’t have another room available and when we checked out the desk clerk said that they were not supposed to rent that room because they knew the AC was not working. I paid for my room in full when I booked it 4 days earlier. No excuse for us being placed in that room”
