The cottage was very well appointed and had everything we needed. The owner takes great pride in their rental. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. “Spacious and cozy! It is charming and lovingly updated while still holding onto that 1940s character. All of my kids aging from 18 to 5 loved the house especially the basement with the pool table, air hockey, and basketball game. The master bed was extremely comfortable, so I was able to get much needed rest. Everything you need to make your stay easy is there and labeled so you don't have to search. “This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Lots of space to spread out. The owners take pride in this place and definitely pay attention to detail. The extra things that they did ahead of time to prepare for our stay made us feel so welcome. It was like finding little treasures everywhere we went. Would highly recommend! “There is only A/C in the kitchen, living room, and one bedroom (barely). Two of the bedrooms were unusable because they were too hot. Communication was terrible. Emails went unanswered. Inconsistencies in listing, automatic message after booking, and information provided by host upon arrival. There was no way to use the TVs when we arrived (host did order in a remote after I called - with wrong batteries of course). No wifi password listed. I had to call for that as well. “This is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the lakeview. It is nicely decorated, with a well equipped kitchen. Four women stayed there comfortably. My granddaughters loved the luxurious shower snd the free kayaks. I loved just sitting on the deck, and looking at the peaceful water. Though I live less than an hour away, it was a real vacation for me. We will definitely be back. Granny of Cold Spring,Ky.”
