“The Hotel was a lovely restored and modernized classic Australian pub/hotel. The coffee/tea/biscuits in the Hotel commons were a treat. The beds were very comfortable. The Hotel staff were very accommodating and provided an extension cord since the outlets were not near the bed. All-in-all, a comfortable, clean, hotel with good service.”

“This was probably my 12th stay at the hotel, and it really is one of the gems of the Sydney hotel scene. Great rooms and a great location. I did request a room at the back, which has never been a problem in the past when it can be accommodated , but this time the check-in agent told me to be placed in a room at the back meant I would downgrade my booking. No one has ever told me that before and the rooms at the back are as good as the rooms at the front so it would not have been a downgrade....
