“The accommodation here is very cheap, and the property condition, staff presence, etc, is in line with that. Not an insult - just realistic. Aging and very dark inside, but clean. Guests should bring their own blankets in cold weather, as it gets VERY chilly. The only issue we had was the lack of guest parking. Otherise, it fulfilled all our requirements.”

“Historic hotel is well located between Katoomba and Blackheath so very easy drive to many sites. Due to age of hotel rooms a little small but functional, the decor even older was well maintained and cosy. Only cons room had to be cleaned again before we accepted it, however the management reacted well and solved the problem. Staff friendly however suggest a bit of training in customer service will work to help make this hotel even better. Overall would recommend this hotel.”

“Due to heavy bookings for UTA event we stayed in a twin room the first night booked direct with motel it was OK for 2 adults 1 teen but we found the second night much better, same sort of facilities but just extra space (this Expedia booking). “Adorable BnB-style property in the Blue Mountains! The staff were so friendly and the rooms comfortable and cozy (especially loved the soaking tub after a long day). It's an easy 10-minute walk to the train station, town, and nearby hiking trails. Breakfast was great, and the views from the lounge and restaurant were absolutely perfect. Loved the fun Christmas in July decorations they had up too — such a nice touch. Highly recommend staying here!”
