Welcome to Gypsy Bay!
Please Note: This property is available for Saturday to Saturday rentals. We welcome multiple weeks with discounts, but check-ins and check-outs are exclusively on Saturday!

Nestled along the picturesque bay, Gypsy Bay is a stunning five-bedroom, three-bathroom waterfront home, perfect for family vacations, accommodating up to 14 guests. This charming bungalow features a newly renovated kitchen, complete with modern appliances and a spacious island ideal for entertaining. The open family room flows into a sunlit dining area, where you can enjoy meals with a breathtaking bay view. A convenient coffee and beverage bar, equipped with both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig, adds to your comfort.

Bedroom Layout:

First Floor: King suite with a scenic view of the bay and pool area, featuring a private bathroom with a shower and single vanity.
Second Floor: Luxurious primary King suite with a glass sliding door that opens to a private deck overlooking the bay, plus a double vanity bathroom. Three additional bedrooms include two King rooms and a bunk room accommodating six, all sharing a bathroom with a double vanity and tub/shower combo.
Outdoor Amenities: Step outside to the private pool deck, where you'll find ample seating for sunbathing and a shaded dining area—perfect for unwinding after a beach day. For indoor fun, the garage recreation room features a full-sized pool table, seating, refrigerator, TV, and bar.

All bedrooms include TVs, while the living room and garage rec room boast large screen TVs. Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi and access to streaming apps, including HGTV, Disney+, Netflix, and Prime Video.

For your convenience, a six-seat golf cart is provided to shuttle you to a nearby handicapped-accessible beach access, located just half a mile away. It’s also perfect for trips to the local ice cream shop or donut market!

Adventure Awaits: Fishing enthusiasts can cast a line right from the backyard, and for the more adventurous, Gypsy Bay offers two kayaks for exploration.

Pool Availability: Open from May 1,2025 to October3, 2025.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this house. The house was clean. The view was breathtaking. The amenities were perfect. Lastly The Host and Hostess were extremely responsive. My husband and I took my 93 year old father (in the picture) for a little vacation and TLC.

We enjoyed staying at this home!! It was clean and well equipped with everything you need. Great for the guys..they could fish right off the property. Golf cart to get to the beach or to get ice cream. Pool was great!! Location was perfect for us.

The views from this property are unbeatable! The pool, golf cart, and pool table made this an incredible vacation spot. It was perfect for our group, the open concept living space gave us plenty of room while allowing us to be together. Dave and Mary Ann were very welcoming and attentive. We loved it, and you will too!

This was the perfect house for our family. 10 adults and one Grandbaby. The table was awesome and was used very even eh for family dinners, conversations, laughs and games. The kitchen and family room area were filled with laughter. The pool and the view of the bay was our refuge from the every day . The golf cart was a huge PLUS Andean fun way to get around . Mary Ann and her husband were the BEST- helped us to get in a bit earlier tho we were happy to just sit and enjoy the view. A few minor problems happened and they were a text away and very accommodating. The farm stand down the main road aWas a favorite and don't miss the MEAT SHACK... a most special find. So many memories ...

A week full of memories!

Our group was so impressed with all aspects of this vacation. The ease of travel to and from the location, vibe and views, luck of weather, and the overall house/ its amenities. The owners were immediately responsive and helpful to any questions. The house layout was perfect for our family, giving everyone their own space but also had an awesome open-layout of the upper level where we could all be together. The kitchen was huge and very well stocked; we were able to cook most nights like we prefer. The kids loved the golf cart rides and it was a life-saver bringing groups and stuff to the beach. Our one recommendation would be to have some shade poolside and more amenities for the beach (towels, chairs, sand toys, etc). We flew in and couldn’t bring much. Thank you!! And hope to be back!

Family Trip

We enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect for hosting both our families. The golf cart made accessing the beach a breeze. The secure pool area was ideal for our dog, and the kids had a blast on the kayaks. Mary Ann and Dave were excellent to work with, handling all our questions and concerns efficiently.

July 4th Family Vacation

This was our first vacation together with extended family, and we created memories that will last a lifetime. While the home was recently remodeled and still had several "punch list" items that will need attending to, the home itself met all our needs and is in a beautiful location on the bay and close to the ocean. Mary Ann was a joy to deal with from booking to departure. The brand new pool and size of the home and property added to the overall excellent experience we had. Along with the golf cart which was a unique feature and a lot of fun! What a special place in Virginia Beach!
