“I was in Snowshoe to enjoy the great outdoors and really didn’t care much about my hotel set up. that being said, I was pleasantly surprised. The property was gorgeous and the room nicely appointed. Definitely appreciated having radiant heat in the floor of the bathroom, even though it was summer! “I booked this property through Expedia and purchased the cancellation policy. I booked around 4 p.m., which was already one hour after check-in. Within a half hour, I realized I had made a mistake and tried to cancel the reservation, but was not permitted because it was after check-in time. “Very expensive for a cheaply constructed hotel. Thin walls, manufactured building feel throughout (floors were echoey and did not feel well constructed, we could hear the TV from everyone’s rooms just walking down the halls) and was over $140 per night on Expedia. Went down for the free breakfast and there was hardly anything left.
