Hotel storici a Virginia

“I wasn't able to adjust the settings on the room temperature”

“Hotel was really OK !!”

“The Old Clarke Inn is in a fine location for motorcycle riding. There is covered parking for motorcycles and other bike friendly amenities. Within walking distance of food.”

“The room was clean, but the entire hotel smelled like smoke. The walls must be paper thin, because we could hear people and conversations/music in neighboring rooms. Breakfast sucked!! The only protein was snack size yogurt. There were no eggs or any meat protein. The coffee was marginal. The morning staff person at the front desk was very unfriendly.”

“I have to say, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at when just needing an off the highway stop over! The place was bright and clean right when you walked in the lobby. The woman behind the desk was pleasant, checked us in and then informed us their coffee and drink station was for 24-hour use! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we really liked the bench/storage seating with the hooks above them. Very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!”

“Comfortable beds, pretty clean and well-maintained, and decent breakfast options! Staff was very friendly.”

“Really adorable hotel. I had an awesome room over the front of the hotel and loved it. Super comfortable bed, cozy, everything I needed. Didn’t love the breakfast buffet but it was fine. Awesome location for walking around town and to the theatre next door.”

“Room was clean and charming. Would have liked a reading lamp, but otherwise very nice and the heater in bathroom was a nice touch.”

“Very close to Staunton and Shenandoah Park. There are a number of options for eating, shopping and gassing up your car.”

“Really nice hotel room with fireplace, deep soaking bathtub, and robes. The hotel staff helped us find a great place to eat. The location was amazing. Just what we needed!”

“The walls were so thin I could hear the conversations in the next room. When they took a shower at 1am it sounded like they were in my bathroom. The one nice thing was the location was very walkable.”

“I was traveling with my daughter and was in need of accommodations close to W&L. This charming motel was exactly what we needed, unfortunately our flight was delayed and we did not get a chance to explore all that was offered. The motel staff was very helpful given our late arrival due to flight complications. I required assistance getting to the airport and found the front desk staff very helpful in facilitating a car service last minute.”
