Bella nuova casa in stile isola a 2 livelli, arredata con gusto, costruita nel mezzo dell'unica foresta pluviale tropicale nativa del paese. Il dott. Stephen Tarek, un chiropratico recentemente in pensione, vive tranquillamente al piano di sopra in un'unità separata ed è disponibile per tutte le esigenze immediate. Poiché tutte le case nell'area del vulcano sono in qualche modo remote, questa è anche una buona misura di sicurezza. Al piano terra della casa dispone di 2 camere da letto private con nuovi letti queen size e lussuosi piumini e biancheria da letto. Il soggiorno ha un divano letto molto comodo full size. Un ampio bagno con vasca idromassaggio e doccia. Tutti i pavimenti e il soffitto in legno con camino a gas e la bellissima cucina completa degli Chef con tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici Samsung e lavatrice / asciugatrice. Grande laghetto di loto e 2 patii privati coperti (lanai) con posti a sedere. Scrivania lunga con spazio per 2 persone che si affaccia sul laghetto di loto per essere comodamente sul laptop. Stampante disponibile La casa più vicina si trova a 400 metri di distanza attraverso la foresta, quindi nessun porta accanto abbaia cani o galli. Estremamente silenzioso e pacifico, unico e un'esperienza completamente hawaiana. Perfetto per coloro che vogliono esplorare ed escursioni in una foresta pluviale tropicale di altitudine superiore. Non è proprio il posto adatto per feste ad alta voce.

Our stay was both wonderful and exceptional. Our host, Steve, could not have been more gracious. He was wonderful in communicating prior to our arrival and gave us a warm welcome and detailed instructions on the home and guidance on exploring the area. His home is gorgeous and like a zen retreat in the middle of a quiet forest. There were numerous thoughtful and lovely touches to the home.I hope to return.

What a beautiful property! Every detail was top notch. Beautiful house and property. We arrived during the biggest Kona storm in over 20 years. Volcano Park was even closed during our stay. Power was out for the entire area. Our host Steve went out of his way to make our stay good. He gave us lanterns and made sure we were well taken care of. We were safe, dry, and comfortable. We’ll stay here again when we come back to see the volcano!

OUTSTANDING PROPERTY! My wife and I stayed here during our visit to the Big Island. We were greeted in advance by the host, Steve, and he made sure the directions to his place were up to date and accurate. The property is immaculate, with very clean appliances, spotless bathroom, and crisp, brilliant white linens. The parking was convenient and mere steps from the entry, making luggage haul seamless and pain free! The beds were comfy and the perfect balance of soft and supportive. Steve took the time to explain the property basics when we arrived, showed us some secret spots that were hidden gems (literally!), and was incredibly responsive and eager to get us the best possible information. The property is literally down the road from Volcano National Park, which made our stay even better! About 30 minutes to a black sand beach, 90 minutes to the green sand beach, and very quiet. There was an assortment of fresh fruit available, directly from the trees on the property and from the big island! I cannot overstate how much fun this stay was. Steve, you made our trip to the big island 1000 times better than we expected it to be! This property is WORTH IT!

If you’re looking for an enchanting retreat, this is it. It’s the perfect space to rejuvenate. The rooms in the house are spacious and clean. The grounds and koi pond are a beautiful addition. You’re only minutes from HVNP and about 30 minutes from the Hilo area. Steve, the host, is very respectful and pleasant. Will definitely be coming back my next visit to the big island.

We had an excellent stay at this property. The space is beautiful and very well appointed. It is obvious that the host cares for his guests and wants you to enjoy yourself while in the area. The bed is very comfortable and the exceptionally clean kitchen is fun to use. The bathroom has a great jacuzzi tub that I really appreciated after a long day of hiking.

This a beautiful, very clean apartment on the ground floor. The owner lives upstairs. The house is surrounded by beautiful, lush, green forest/garden. Very peaceful, we saw amazing large birds foraging on the edge of the forest about 20 yards from our patio doors. The apartment is very well supplied with all equipment needed in the kitchen, including a very nice rice cooker, beautiful pots, and dishes. Unusually, the apartment even had some basic supplies, like some spices, some oatmeal, tea, sunscreen, and even basic over the counter medicines and cream for sunburn. This is truly unusual and very helpful. I was greatful for that.The owner is very pleasant and responsive to any questions, without being intrusive - he is there if you contact him, and you don't see him if you don't wish to.

What a special place! Well designed and constructed accommodation with quality products including building materials, appliances, lighting. Thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, bath robes and house slippers. Very comfortable furniture. Very clean; well stocked. On-site host welcoming, provided all needed with efficient and friendly communication. It was a refreshing, calming and good energy stay!

Our host was "invisible" unless we needed him for anything, he was immediately responsive and accommodating! Our host, made us feel welcome before we even arrived and was a wealth of knowledge about the island, places to visit, eat, shop for food, etc. The home was outstanding, quiet, peaceful, serene setting both inside and out. Volcano Forest House

Steve is such an awesome host and gives incredible recommendations about things to do around the island. Volcanoes National Park entrance is really close by so we were able to go daily. The house was super comfortable and the kitchen (with gas cooktop) made it so easy to come home after hiking and sightseeing to cook a simple meal for dinner. Highly recommend this peaceful place. Thanks Steve!

Did you ever walk into a rental and know that you are a special guest and not just another renter? You will feel this away here. Every detail inside and out has been thought of and organized. The kitchen is ideal (plenty of items to get started, condiments and spices incl coffee), the bedding was heavenly and the outside areas so relaxing, every inch was squeaky clean too.Steve was beyond a five star host and was so helpful for off the path island info and volcano watching.tips.. We were lucky enough to be there for Kilauea’s episode 16 and drove to the park in 15 minutes to catch the eruption. So close here for easy access to what could be a once in a lifetime viewing event.. spectacular!This was an unforgettable stay here at Volcano Forest House next to Volcanoes National Park. We are still in awe!

Perfection

Forest House is the absolute perfect place to stay in Volcano. The house and grounds are divine. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Location is in a very quiet spot just a few short minutes to the park. We were so thankful to have chosen this bit of heaven for our stay!

This unit was probably the nicest rental I have ever stayed at . The property has a peaceful, zen atmosphere. The unit was immaculate, and was thoughtfully designed and appointed. The location , just 10 minutes from the national park, was very convenient. I hope to visit again soon.

Rainforest Paradise

This is an absolutely beautiful property, inside and out. Very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back. Location is great for touring the Volcano and the east side of the Island. Host is terrific.

Oasis in the forest

Our stay at the Volcano Forest House was simply the best! The host did a fantastic job at communicating how to get there and what to expect. The space was clean, inviting and exactly what we were hoping for. Walking out in the mornings to sit and listen to the birds with my morning coffee was divine. The property is gorgeous and if you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the frogs like we did! Definitely plan to return if I am in Volcano again. Thank you Steve!
