My stash was horrible! At least he did ask if I wanted to change rooms because the one I booked was upstairs, but he had a downstairs, this is even before I went to the room for the night, this was just a courtesy he was offering cause it was downstairs smoking room. I took the downstairs room, it was clean when I went inside, it smelled weird but you know I bought an inscent to help with the smell, couldn’t get the microwave to add the time just cook, which I didn’t use, made it to the bathroom and I’m killing roaches, in the ceiling over the shower, he said it was a HOLE, it’s not a HOLE,LEAK, BUT THAT IS MOLD OVER THE SHOWER! VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! More to come, I finally sit down, eat some dinner, turn on the TV, (which needs to be upgraded), I turn on the heat and it WANT COME ON! My bad it will come on but it’s stuck on the AC COLD AND YOU DON’T HAVE ANY HEAT! WE SUFFERED IN THAT ROOM CAUSE WE KNEW WE WERE LEAVING IN THE MORNING IT WAS LATE, I WASTED MY MONEY AND VERY HIGHLY UPSET! The only reason I went back is because I didn’t have this such of a bad experience before, but this WAS BEYOND MY CONTROL!

The property was virtually empty and I still had to go to the 2nd floor. This was not ideal because I had hunting and camping gear in the back of my truck that I had to unload and carry to the 2nd floor. There was one dead roach on the floor as I walked in.

There were dead bugs in the light fixture overhead and a bug crawling across the bed. Also the phone was present but disconnected.

Staff was very nice, but that's about the only positive. The road leading into the property is filled with potholes. Hotel room was atrocious. Dirty floors, walls, ceilings, etc. Roaches and bugs crawling throught the room and on the bedding the entire night. Door of the room was not sealed properly, which allowed more insects to enter the room and also allowed me to hear ALL of the freeway traffic throughout the entire night.

If I could give this place a negative star rating I would. There has not been one pleasant experience at this hotel in any location. Constant loud slimming noises almost like somebody doing demo work all through the night. You never know what kind of debauchery is just then she plywood away, and not to mention that the latches on the door were broken and looks like it has been kicked in before. I would think twice before risking your life at one of these places I will tell you that the staff was very nice and friendly, and they definitely have their hands full and hands tied with a lot of stuff and it’s not their fault. Definitely if you have kids do not even drive onto this property is a waste of your time between staying in this and staying in your car I choose my car every time. I booked a king, non-smoking room for 1 night. When I got in the room, the TV casing was broken, the floors were dirty, the towel shelf was falling off the wall, there was a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom and leftover trash and cigarette butts in the room. While the staff was nice and didn’t hesitate to give me a refund, I would not recommend this motel to anyone. All I wanted was a clean bed to sleep in for a night and I didn’t receive that.

Get what you pay for

The smoke free room smelled of smoke. The room needed serious upgrades and cleaning. I tried to turn on the TV using the remote but no luck The door was filthy, the bathroom tile and floor needed a good bleaching. The ac was very loud but it did get cold. I guess you get what you pay for. The owner’s son did help us carry our bags upstairs. Thank you

DO NOT STAY HERE! If you are still considering staying here, don’t you will want to leave and Uber or Lyft may not come get you. It’s that BAD! 1st room smelled horrible, had a sticky floor, filthy, run down room. I would not advise to sit on the bed let alone sleep in it. Then there were live and dead cockroaches in the room, other bugs in the bathroom. EVERY surface was dirty and disgusting. I went back to the lobby that is locked to wait for someone to comeback to see what could be done. His response was “Do you want a refund or do you want another room.” Very rude, very pushy, did not speak much English. I asked for another room. We both went into this next room and surveyed the filth. When we got to the bathroom there were human feces smeared on the outside of the toilet. I pointed it out to him and he was oblivious. I kept pointing and saying there was poop. He was not concerned in the least. He asked again if I wanted a refund, there were no other rooms. I asked for cleaning supplies and he ignored me. This was midnight after a full day of flying and I was in shock at the state of the hotel and his attitude. We went back to the lobby and he got a disposable dry dust mop, NO CLEANING SPRAY, nothing else . He was gone for 2 minutes and said it was now cleaned. I went back in and the smeared human feces were no longer on the toilet. Now it was just all over the bathroom floor, which I had not seen before. I stood in this room for 5-10 minutes trying

TSTC

It’s super convenient to the TSTC campus. If it weren’t for the highway in between, it would be a 5 minute walk to the student center. It’s an older building and they keep it clean, but don’t expect the Four Seasons. It’s a safe place to sleep and relatively comfortable too. The price reflects that. I’ll definitely stay here again.

This was a very dirty place. Upon entering there was a strong Oder of cigarettes, there were roaches in the shower and the beds were dirty.

Rooms don’t look like they are cleaned very well after each guest. Not worth the stay, rooms are always overpriced . The manager was going around knocking on doors a little after 8 am telling guest that if they where checking out they need too check out now. Check wasn’t until 11 am.

The pros: The staff were very nice and helpfull. They were updating the parking lot. The cons: The room was what you would expect from 2 start motel. AC leaked, non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes. When it started pooring rain, a lot of that water poored in from under the door.
