Innanzitutto non è un hotel ma un ostello di bassissima qualità, nonostante la Vostra presentazione alquanto ingannevole. Le camere (se proprio vogliamo definirle tali...) sono loculi microscopici con servizi (se proprio vogliamo definirli tali...) altrettanto piccoli. Pulizia inesistente, accettazione (escluso la "povera" receptionist) inseistente. Totalmente insoddisfatto e deluso, soprattutto da Expedia per aver presentato una bettola come una perla. Come da clausole inoppugnabili, una volta arrivati nella "struttura" e resici conto di quale pessimo ambiente avessimo prenotato, siamo stati costretti a pagare la prima delle due notti prenotate, dovendo ricorrere ad altra struttura che allo stesso prezzo ci ha fornito tutto quello che ci aspettavamo di trovare (reception funzionale e cortese, camere spaziose e pulite, ottima colazione e cena). E' stata una di quelle esperienze che in futuro mi faranno evitare Expedia. Negativissimo.

In maniera INGANNEVOLE Expedia propone l'Hotel PETRA GATE come struttura di LUSSO a Wadi Musa, ma posso assicurarVi che nulla corrisponde alla descrizione che si trova sul sito. Fabbricato FATISCENTE e DECADENTE esternamente e soprattutto internamente. Le camere sono di dimensioni anguste e buie perché la maggior parte di loro sono prive di finestre. Lenzuola e cuscini ingialliti, letti e materassi logori, bagni indicibili, assenza degli arredi minimi per mancanza di spazio intorno al letto. Dopo aver visionato le camere disponibili e non averne trovata una decorosa e valevole del prezzo richiesto, abbiamo deciso di rinunciare alla prenotazione delle 2 notti prenotate e andarcene. Purtroppo abbiamo dovuto pagare la penale pari al costo della prima notte, ma fuori da lì ci siamo rivolti ad un’altra struttura che per la STESSA CIFRA ci ha offerto camere e servizi di buon livello di gran lunga superiore a quanto “offerto” dal Petra Gate Hotel e soprattutto fedeli e rispondenti alle descrizioni promosse dai siti di settore.

Struttura situata nella zona turistica di Wadi musa, vicina ai ristoranti. Petra è raggiungibile in 20min a piedi, ma all'andata è tutta discesa...al ritorno magari è preferibile un taxi. La ragazza della reception è molto gentile e sempre disponibile ad aiutare e dare consigli. Consiglio questa struttura.

not great experience
few services especially in the bathroom, in the night is quite cold but there heaters are turned off if you are in a budget is ok otherwise search something better

アンマンへ行くバス停が近くにあり、更にペトラ遺跡へ徒歩で行ける場所のホテルを探してここにしました。値段相応という感じですが、スタッフさんがとても愛想良く気分良く宿泊できました。

Great view over Petra
You get a great view drom the hotel overlooking Petra, but quite a steep climb from the visitor centre. However, there are a lot of shops, other hotels and restaurants in the area. A very helpful receptionist from the Phillipines who will help and offer advice!

Very friendly staff and in a nice area with good views. The ecomodation is basic, but good! The air-conditioning is superb (the most important) and the area has good shops and restaurants. A nice stay.

Make yourself a favour and avoid this place. I wouldn't know how to start because everything was a disaster. Furniture (including beds and mattresses) are from another era, the bathroom cannot be smaller, wifi only works in the reception area (when it works...), noisy, smelly, dirty, leaking pipes, bugs, no water pressure... You are in Petra / Wadi Musa, so you know prices are high, but at least you expect some quality. You won't get any here. This is the kind of hotel you don't feel like coming back to after a long day of sightseeing. It is a pity because they could make it better if they invested a little in the place.

L'hôtel est bien situé (20-30min) à pied de Petra. Le personnel est accueillant et propose des pique-nique à emporter pour le midi. Les équipements de la chambre sont minimalistes (lit, salle de bain privée), la propreté était limite. Le prix correspond bien au service.

Great little gem in modern Petra
Petra Gate Hotel seems to be a youth hostel because when we booked two rooms, one for each of us, each room had multiple beds. One had three single beds, and the other had four. I didn't have a problem with that; I just wanted a private room to myself, and I got it! Each room had one electrical outlet, but a power-strip was available to provide multiple outlets. Towels and soap were provided upon request. The hotel arranged for us to have an evening at the Turkish Baths at a discount. When we had a complaint about the baths, the hotel was quick to follow up with them to resolve it. Customer service was outstanding here. The hotel may seem a bit rundown, with old plastered walls painted in fading colors, cheap bedding (mine was covered with kid's "Dora the Explorer" blankets), and bare basics. If you're looking for luxury, don't look here. But if you want a bed, shower, breakfast and some quiet sleep at a good price, this is the place. The location is excellent: about a mile from the main entrance to Petra's ruins, and in the center of modern-day Petra. Restaurants, shops and every kind of convenience is readily available either next door, across the street or within a city block. Best was the excellent customer service from the receptionist. I wish I had gotten her name so I could post it here. She was outstanding!

Friendly staff, but that is as far as it went. Crusty spongebob blankets. No trash bins. No towels or soap in room. Power outlets loose, hard to use. Had breakfast elsewhere. Hard, lumpy bed. Reserved a double, had two twins under the stairs. Dirty... for the price try to find something else.

Worst hotel in the world?
The worst hotel I have stayed in, worldwide in 35 years of backpacking! Dirty floors, bathroom appalling, toilet leaked round the bowel flooding the floor every time cistern flushed. Decor terrible with flaking paint from lines of damp. Old metal frame single beds creaked when you sat on them. Bedside cupboard drawers had no handles. Wiring old and sockets dangerous. Heating minimal from ancient leaking radiator. Lighting minimal and low wattage. Headtorch needed to read in bed. Stay of 2 nights so dire we got the management to deduct the 3 JOD/person daily (poor) breakfast charges, though with some difficulty. The advertised 10 minute walk to Petra's entrance gate mire like 20 mins downhill and 35 up.

良い所が一つもないホテル
他に泊まりたいホテルがあったが一杯だった為こちらに宿泊したが、口コミを下の方まで読まずに予約した事を後悔した。 部屋は陰気くさく、テンションがさがる。 ベッドのマットレスは古く横になると身体が沈む。 ベッドシーツとカバーは清潔感ナシ、バスタオルは黄ばんでボロボロ、うちの犬のタオルより悲惨な状態。 浴室の下水溝からドブ臭い匂いが上がってくるし、シャワーのお湯は出ない。2.3分シャワーを出しっ放しにしてと言われたがシャワーカーテンが短く過ぎ、水が跳ねて隣りのトイレに流れ出す始末。 当然その日のシャワーは諦めた。 ホテルは満室にもかかわらず、ペトラ遺跡への送迎は一切なし。 値段も特別安いわけでもないし、全く泊まる価値なし。 目の前に二軒あった新しい感じのホテルの方が居心地が良さそうだった。

Good value for money with free parking
The hotel itself is a hostel with some single private rooms which is where I stayed, Staff was friendly, Room was ready within 10 mins of me making the booking, Petra gate location is in the Gate of Petra town rather than actual Petra museum which is a 20 minute walk away, The room was fine, very tired, Bathroom clean but definitely needed a refurb and a new matress would have been nice, I cannot complain for the £25 I paid, It was clean safe, Could park the car, Would stay again 100%

Petra Gate -- a fabulous deal & a great location
I quite enjoyed my time at Petra Gate Hostel & Hotel. I arrived early enough for a room on the main floor...enjoyed very* much dinner on the roof-top watching the sunset...and I found the manager & staff to be most kind & helpful! The bathroom was modern & clean...the double bed very comfortable after a full day at Petra...and I loved the hot shower. The breakfast was basic but, for my tastes, very healthy. Overall, Petra Gate was a great deal for the money -- I stayed overnight so that I could enjoy a second day at Petra & I could have stayed longer! The hotel is a bit of a hike from the actual Petra site -- but again, I didn't at all mind the strenuous walk to an from the hotel.

Better to avoid this hotel
This hotel was a big disappointment : noisy room close to a busy road and dirty toilets/bathroom. I will not stay again in such a place.

its better to be honest when you write a reviews to other hotel , there is 5 hotel at the same street , we are one of the best location , and all our rooms at the back side of the rood ,

Great location and the wonderful host you can find
This hotel was very good for the price. Excellent staff, good location near Petra, and proximity to market, shops and bank. Nasser the owner was especially helpful, and gave great tips regarding correct taxi fares to not get ripped off, where to buy things and things to see in Petra and Little Petra. When I arrived it was my birthday and he prepared a lunch for me free of charge. Bottom line: unbeatable for price.

Good value for the price.
Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave me a great recommendation of a place to stay in Wadi Rum afterwards. Hotel is a good value for the price you pay and the breakfast is great.

Avoid the Petra Gate Hotel
Was looking for an inexpensive hotel while exploring Petra. The Petra Gate is a very down-market hotel. Broken toilets, sagging beds, no air conditioning, poor wifi connections, dirty floors and a pretty poor breakfast in the morning. Do yourself a favour and spend a few more dollars and get a decent room.

Great value, convenient for Petra
Hotel was very comfortable, staff was very nice and helpful with all things Petra. Such a great value for the price! Just a 2JD taxi ride down to the Petra Visitor Center. Breakfast was not really worth it, but overall had a great time here!

夏のローシーズンだったのか、周辺地域の情勢不安の為か分からないが、周りにホテルの多くが閉まっていた。水のシャワーが出なくなるアクシデントがあったが、それ以外は値段相応であった。

他の方のレビューにも記載がありましたが、wi-fiが部屋では使用出来ませんでした。(廊下までは辛うじて届くのですが…。なおロビーでは問題なく繋がります。) 宿の方の対応等はとても良く、満足しています。

Nice hotel with roof top. Hotel staff helpful
I was welcomed with great customer service and enjoyed my stay. Be aware you're in a Muslim city, expect early morning prayers and call ahead if you're checking in after 9p.m. They lock up around 10 p.m. Overall, I felt safe and was satisfied!

Огромный минус отеля - очень холодно в номере! Батарея не работала. Попросили электрический обогреватель. Но всю комнату он не нагревает. В ночь с 5 на 6 января - на улице было +1 градус. В номере чуть больше - очень холодно. Персонал - отличный. Чуть говорит по-русски. Помогает. Это не отель, а хостел. Пешком до входа в Петру минут 10. Парковка бесплатная. Завтрак почти никакой - чай и мутный салат. Окна выходят на Вади-Мусу. С минарета в 5 утра несется громкий звук - :(

ペトラ観光のため一泊半利用
ワディラムからバスでペトラへ向かい昼ぐらいに到着予定。ペトラ観光のため、とりあえず予約した宿。オーナーがとても良い人。バスでアンマン空港まで行けたが、たまたま50JDでタクシーを予約してくれた。ホテルから空港まで約2時間半で快適。ホテルの部屋は、古いタイプだが長くお湯を出せばホットシャワー可◯エアコンないがオーナーがヒーターを用意◯ただし、まさかの小さい南京虫が残念ながら出てしまった。すぐにオーナーに話をし、部屋を変更。以前にも南京虫が出たことあるがすでに駆除したとのことだが、また発生。嫌な思いをしたが、安宿なので仕方ない。ただオーナーは、非常に良い方でした◎朝食は、アラビックスタイル。周辺は、レストランがたくさんあるが非常に価格が高いので自炊をオススメします。コンビニなども高いです。もちろんペトラ観光も含めです。
