Hotel a Waianae

“It's really a corner of paradise: still in Oahu, but far from the fuss of Waikiki (that you can always reach in 20 min by car). It's a place that instills the peace and serenity Hawaii are linked to, in everyone's mind. Room are spacoius and very confortable, personnel friendly and always willing to help, but the thing I enjoyed the most was chilling on the patio while watching at the bay, especially just before sunset”

“The resort is huge and very beautiful. Food is also good even if there aren’t many options. Down sides they don’t have Kidsclub and they don’t do turn down which is odd. ”

“First and foremost, the building looks like it’s condemned and anyone who spends their hard earned money to stay here should be very well aware of that. As for the interior of the unit that is subpar at best be prepared for the fact that there really is not an actual bedroom. It’s a bed that you have no space to walk around. The location is not great either you are quite a ways away from any of the locations a tourist would want to visit. The only reason I give it any stars at all is because of...

“This was a nice, clean hotel for my family to stay in overnight while waiting for a connecting flight back to the mainland. It served its purpose. The primary let down was simply the treatment from the staff upon arrival. In particular it was the member of staff who checked us in who was very rude and unhelpful. The exchange felt as if he was the customer and I was there to help him through the procedure while paying the hotel for the privilege. My family and I will not stay at or recommend...

“Property was well maintained and very clean. Staff were attentive. Located downtown, not so nice area. But I guess that is beyond the property’s control.”

“This was a perfect place to stay. You walk out the sliding glass doors and are in paradise. It is a short walk to the beach where you have umbrellas and chairs to use. The snorkeling at the bay was unbeatable. We took a trip to Hanauma Bay to snorkel and saw less than we did snorkeling at the villa’s bay. I will never stay anywhere else. Totally worth the money to stay here. ”

“The escalator is still under repair/replacement. How long is it going to take?”

“The condo itself was wonderful. Comfortable bed and in a great location. However the balcony is not small. It is tiny! And because they are working on it, we had no access to it. We couldn’t even open the door to it. There were instructions to operate the TV and get live programs. That didn’t work. The only way to watch virtually anything was to sign in to your own apps. We also tried to mirror our phones with the TV. That didn’t work either. ”

“Room looked to be clean when we first showed up then soon after getting our first meal for the day and coming back to the hotel. We find roaches everywhere on the floor, the wall, and even the fridge. We were even worried if any got into our suitcase because there was a time when we found a roach on our luggage. Don’t get me wrong we had fun but not because of the hotel. Hawaii is amazing just that this hotel definitely was the downside to the trip.”
