A Maalaea, sarai a pochi passi dal porto, dai ristoranti, dai negozi, dal centro acquatico, dal mini golf e molto altro ancora! C'è una piccola spiaggia sabbiosa / rocciosa proprio dietro il condominio (a seconda della marea) dove le tartarughe possono essere individuate frequentemente, oppure puoi andare in fondo alla strada (0. 2 miglia) alla vasta spiaggia sabbiosa di Haycraft Beach Park, che è perfetto per lunghe passeggiate, nuoto o semplicemente per rilassarsi. Forniremo il refrigeratore, gli asciugamani e le sedie, così sarai pronto a prendere un po 'di sole! Potresti anche vedere alcune balene se visiti dicembre-marzo. Maalaea è perfettamente situato vicino al centro dell'isola, quindi sarai vicino ad altre aree popolari dell'isola, come Lahaina, Kihei e Kahului!

Fabulous location. Beautiful sunrise. Peaceful and quiet. Lovely live in resident neighbors to spend evenings chatting with in the hot tub! Well appointed condo. Confortable bed. Loved every minute of our stay and will be booking again!

Amazing view

This apartment has a fabulous location. The view from the balconey where we had our morning coffee was worth every penny. It is located on the National whale conservancy area but it was too late in the season for us the magnificent creatures have migrated north. We did see some turtles swimming around in these waters. The flowering trees around the property are gorgeous too and the hot tub is a welcome addition after a strenuous hike.

Broken elevator, outdated

When we first arrived the elevator was broken and they knew that and failed to inform us before we arrived. They should have given us the option of a refund if we wanted one because the listing said elevators. What if we couldn't do stairs. The drawers in the kitchen were broken and would fall out. The sliding door barely opened and only with some force and wouldn't lock. We informed the management of all of these things when we first arrived and all they wanted to do was send someone over to look at the sliding door. We refused since this was our vacation. It was centrally located and was mostly clean except for the furniture, curtains. pillows both on the couch and bed. If we could have gotten our money back when we told them about all of these issues we would have went somewhere else. But to spend over 3000 and not get any money back isn't something we could afford..I wouldn't not stay there again.

Whales Galore!

We booked this condo to be at waters edge to watch the whales. Armed with a small set of binoculars, they gave us a show almost 25/7. The grounds were well maintained and loved the updates bbq pits. The location is super convenient to everything on the island especially the airport. The condo was very clean but frankly a little tired and dated. The bed and couch needs upgrading.

Not too bad

Our stay was very nice at the Ma’alaea Banyans. If you’re traveling with a baby, just note the AC doesn’t reach the back bedroom cool, so pack a fan or have the baby sleep in the living room. Overall the place was nice and seeing the turtles in the bay every day was a bonus.

Honestly, staying here was the best decision we could have made. It's a nice, central location on the island. Its tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Kihei, but trips there and the other towns packed with restaurants and shopping were a quick trip. Take advantage of the beach at Haycraft Park at the end of the street! The condo was clean and comfortable with a spectacular view! It was a perfect place to stay!

Lovely relaxing view

The views and location were perfect. Centrakky located to neighboring towns. Overall unit was clean with exception of closets. They were dirty and needed to be finished properly. Dirty undergarments were left in closet by housekeeping.

Someone entered our rental while we were naked

We had a very big scare when we were having a private moment and a man just let himself into our rental. We were very scared and felt unsafe. After that, we have the interaction on recording, but I definitely need a resolution offered. This is unacceptable and a very upset that this happened to us.

Great central location

Good condo with ocean front view. Condo is centrally located. Place has all the basic items you may need. Furniture and kitchen cabinetry need a little TLC. Very nice to have washer and dryer in unit.

Fabulous stay

This location and condo are both terrific! Very comfortable condo with everything we needed. Location was superior - close to the marina, shopping, restaurants. We had a blast watching sea turtles (on the beach and in the water) and enjoyed a fun whale watching cruise. Really nice beach park a short walk away as well. When we come back to Maui, we will definitely stay here again.

Stay away from this unit

I’ve never given a negative rating like this in all the years I’ve been renting vrbo but I feel this has been the worst value for money I have ever experienced, not worth half of what we paid.Thiswas our 5th trip to Maui and we thought we would try a different area. The biggest issue is the bed is so bad my hips are still aching and the couch is almost as bad and I spent many hours awake instead of getting decent nights sleep, both need to be replaced immediately.The condo needs a deep clean, including washing the curtain that look fine until you move them to open the window and see the dirt on the back, also the fronts of the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom vanity need to be scrubbed down. One kitchen drawer falls as you open because it is broken. There are few dishes for example 3 cups, 5 plates one of which is chipped. The toaster is very old and requires multiple attempts to make toast. The coffee pot leaks. The bathtub takes 45 minutes to drain when you take a shower, if two people showered one right after the other, the tub is close to overflowing. The only broom is an old straw broom that doesn’t clean well, there is no mop. The picture showing the deck with a round table and 4 chairs is not what’there, one chair of the set is missing and although there is a chair in the corner it is to tall to use at the table. Our check out time was 10:00 am, and yet we had cleaners knocking on the door at 9:15 am. The pool area and hot tub area and grounds are well kept.

Nauseating Urine Smell

Let me tell you about our stay. As soon as we walked in the door, the noticed a horrible chemical smell throughout the condo. We had to open the doors and let it air out for a while. After a few hours, we thought the smell was gone, so we closed the sliding door. A few minutes later we began to smell the disgusting stench of old urine emanating from the bathroom. We had to go out and buy a can of Fabreze to spray religiously because the smell was so gross. It never truly went away. The bathroom smelled like there was urine embedded in the walls the entire time. It got to the point where it was making us nauseated. Also, there was pretty much no hot water. The hottest water in the shower was just barely lukewarm. The water pressure from the shower was poor. Something else that happened that also surprised us was one time in the middle of taking a shower, for no apparent reason, the shower curtain bar came crashing down, almost hitting my wife in the head. We put it back up, but noticed it wasn't even properly attached to begin with. Enough with the bad things, some of the good things were the condo was stocked with plates and utensils and a working fridge, microwave, AC, and washer/dryer. It has a nice balcony with a beach view. The beach itself it very limited and is not ideal for swimming, but sometimes there are huge turtles sleeping on it during the evening. The keycode lock on the door worked fine and it easier than having to carry a key around.

The View!!!

The view was awesome!!! I would spend so much time early mornings and evening hours just looking out at the view! Also, the beach area to the right of the building had sea turtles resting during the day. The place was very nice and had everything that we wanted and needed. The location was private/safe and yet near enough to drive to all the places in a short time period.

All about the view

The property was located right by the ocea. The view was spectacular. The unit was decent, not spectacular but good enough. The hot tub small and extremely noisy (maybe time for an upgrade?) The pool was clean, not large but good enough to cool off in. We did have technical difficulties with WiFi and TV. did take a while to sort out ( Management company does not work Weekends) But when we finally got ahold of them things fell into place.

Great view but needs some updating

The view from the appartement is amazing. Our daughter had to sleep on the sleeping couch.The couch needs to be replaced.It is old and has a bad matras. One spring was loose.Our daughter did not sleep well. If you plan to do some cooking (like us).The pots and pans need replacement.The bedroom and bathroom were ok.
