“As others have said the building is under renovation. Our first morning there was a Friday and the crew showed up but it was raining too hard. Then the weekend so we did not have work going on while we there. We did have scaffolding in front but it didn't spoil the view or our time on the lanai. The unit is lovingly decorated and very well furnished in both the kitchen and beach equipment. The king size bed was quite comfortable, the murphy bed not as much. “My sister and I stayed at Michelle's condo and had a great time. The location was ideal for us, walking distance to Ala Moana shopping and beaches, as well as next to the beautiful Ala Wai harbor and Waikiki area. Her condo was very clean, upgraded, furnished with the essentials, and had central A/C. There was some road noise from Ala Moana Blvd, and the bldg seemed a bit outdated on the outside, but overall it was perfect for us and we'd definitely stay there again!”

“detailed instruction on how to check in.. clean property, right on the beach.. a kitchen with everything needed to cook some meals while looking the ocean.. the patio had unobstructed views of the pacific ocean.. close to many of the north shore beaches and not far from honolulu too.. plenty of parking on the property”

“Rooms were nice and roomy for our large group. Sofa bed, is well , a sofa bed, fine for smaller guests. Kitchen didn't have measuring spoons or cups. Knifes were dull. Lobby and hallways are kept clean. Rooms where very clean upon arrival. Close walk to beach, parks, restaurants, shopping. Rooms we booked had 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. We would always check before showering if anyone else needed the bathroom first. ”

“This was our second time staying at the Aston Waikiki Sunset. Our first time was great. This time we had my handicapped mother. We called the hotel beforehand to request a toilet seat extender and a shower chair. It took one and a half days for them to bring these items after I called housekeeping and the front desk repeatedly. They seemed not to care. We will not be staying here again.”
