“It was wonderful. It was a late night arrival after a stormy drive and such a pleasant welcoming. Too cold to try the pool. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival and also saw them when leaving who were very pleasant to chat with, as was the dog that carried a rubber boot around. Everything was modern and easy to use. Of the highlights were the home made bread along with jam and fresh farm eggs left for us, and awaking to see lambs just outside the windows with cattle not far in the pasture....

“No pin holding the toilet roll holder in so when you touched the roll it just all fell apart Jug must have been used for something else other than boiling water as it stunk like burnt … tried to have a cup of coffee in the morning and the smell was the same as the taste awwwfffuulll Lady at front desk who checked us in was so helpful and lovely. Beds were clean, rooms just a bit run down New jug needed for room 609 ”

“Clean and Tidy, all linen provided, along with hand soap, toilet cleaner, laundry powder etc. Tea, coffee & Sugar also provided, but you have to provide you own milk. Excellent spot if tou have a dog or little kids who are on the run.”

“Very Clean Room, and kitchen, good shower pressure, functional clean bathrooms. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Good quiet location.”

“Very comfortable stay. Peaceful location yet close to city. Easy access, only thing missing was salt n pepper from the kitchen ”

“Run by a sweet elderly couple, the bath, kitchenette and linens were very clean. However, the carpeting was not and the facility could use a good freshening up. It is very convenient to everything in Martinborough and was inexpensive.”
