“I stay away around 200 nights a year and this place is ok. Comfy bed Nice properly, but the staff are just woefully inept at hosting, I wasn’t offered an evening meal or breakfast. The bar staff are quite possibly the least friendly robots one can imagine. Then there is the traffic outside the rooms, staying on the ground floor close to bins, the bottle emptying goes on until 11pm and then the bin truck arrives 6 hours later in the early hours for recycling.. then you have to deal with the...

“Overhaul very good although the restaurant closed at 7.00 and the bar 9.00 on Sunday.”

“Found the place expensive £7 a pint, and £13.50 for a breakfast, which we didn’t bother with.Also the room I paid for double room with an extra single bed, had been given to someone else, which by the way I had phoned up two days previous to verify I had.Staff I spoke too were nice, but I would never go back there.”

“Buffet breakfast was tepid, warm plates would have helped. Our second morning after our request they cooked it fresh to order - massive improvement. Unfortunately for our evening meal we were served undercooked batter on our fish. Restaurant staff handled brilliantly. Residences are not a part of the hotel in the main house but converted cottages, a short walk away and unlit. The toilet in the main bedroom wouldn't stop filling. Husband managed to shut it off, reported to reception next morning....
