    The Space:

    Located in a perfect location near the lake, local shops, and great restaurants in the village, this historic, 19th-century home - a true original in Walloon village - is ideal for a romantic getaway for two or a solo adventure. Inside, you'll find white shiplap walls and ceilings, sunlit spaces, and all the amenities you'll need for a relaxing time away. Prepare your favorite recipes in the compact, but well-equipped kitchen, dine at the table for two, and then settle into the front living area and stream your favorite TV channels. Out front, relax on the porch swing and watch the world go by, or head out back to dine on the deck. Things to Know Full kitchen (no dishwasher) Streaming TV services require guest accounts to access. Public lake access is just 800 feet from this home. This property is managed by Vacasa Michigan LLC.

This was our second time staying here in the Fall. It is so cozy! We love the location! We were able to enjoy some hiking and the beautiful Fall colors in the area. The cottage is clean and exactly how it is described.

Great place to stay!

Perfect little house for a weekend getaway for a couple! Very cute and clean, close to shops and restaurants. Easy driving distance Boyne mountain, Boyne city, Charlevoix, and Petoskey!

Cozy and comfortable!

Very quaint and interesting home! Just like the photos and very close to everything in town! The only hiccup was getting the correct code for the lockbox which took about 30 minutes after our arrival but it was also available to us for an early check-in so couldn't complain too much! You are definitely speaking with a Vacasa agent and not a direct homeowner or host. Overall a great stay!

The cottage was exactly like posted. It was super charming and cute. My husband and I felt very comfortable staying there. It was the perfect size. I hope to have the opportunity to stay there again sometime.

Iovely little home

We loved it. It had a fresh look and great design work throughout the home. It's walking distance to the town of Walloon Lake which was so great and you can get anywhere quite quickly. The bed slept great and the bathroom was super nice. Back patio was private and even had a nice fireplace area. Our fav was anging out on the spacious front porch. We will definitely be staying here again and again!

Cute historical home. Very clean but microwave was dirty. The door code did NOT work nor did the code for key in lock box. Had to contact management for new codes.Key lock box by back door is hanging on outdoor light. If you are short (5'2) you cannot see. I had to climb on chair!Washing machine only hot water. Selected cold water and rinse too was HOT.

Perfect Getaway

Lake Daze is the perfect place to be your home port when you are trailering a boat around northern Michigan. We toured Walloon Lake, Lake Charlevoix, and even went to Beaver Island. Lake Daze was clean and comfortable. A perfect location to walk to dinner and shopping. Eating in was delightful as well with the kitchen containing everything we needed, and a grocery store in walking distance. Thank you!

Cozy nook

Super cute property. This is a no frills getaway which is reflective of the price. It has everything you need in terms of amenities and the location is fantastic for what we needed. There was quite a bit of snow which made the front door inaccessible and there wasn’t a snow shovel so we just used the back door. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to supply a shovel and salt for the back door as it was pretty snowy and icy. Overall thank you for a nice stay
