“What a great stay we had at The Cochrane House! Our hosts were accommodating and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We stayed at the Cochrane House after attending a couple of sporting events in Detroit. It was so nice to come back to a place that was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast arrived at our door the following morning. Coffee just as we like it and homemade biscuits. The sisters that own this home are terrific hosts. “The entire house was slanted, making it difficult to walk up the stairs, which were already fairly steep. One friend left with unspecified bug bites on her leg, several of us had reddish and brown stains on our mattresses, and one persons was flipped over to hide said stains. Floor came up a bit in the kitchen on our first night there and a friend got a scratch on her foot from it. Trash was also not taken out when we arrived. Decorations were nice, and towels, sheets and dishes were included,...

“20/10. This hotel was everything . Best happy hour menu we have come across in any city that we have travelled and cheap ! Great location , service was amazing , and LOVED the sauna in the basement . We didn’t see any ghosts :( but hopefully , next time … we will . ”

“The room was spotless, everything was in good condition. Rooming and comfortable. The wall of window and view was exceptional. The windows could have been cleaner but there was a blizzard going on during our stay. So hopefully that was the only reason for that. Location was perfect to enjoy the city. Parking was across the street in a parking garage with in/out availability. The communication was also great. We will definitely return the next time we are traveling to the city.”
