Cottage di lusso situato sull'isola di Purbeck

Tanners Cottage è stato costruito nel 2014 sul terreno dietro quello che era il vecchio negozio del villaggio e vicino a dove si trovava la vecchia conceria. Il cottage è una proprietà indipendente con giardino privato recintato.

Entrando nella proprietà troverete un accogliente corridoio che conduce in una moderna cucina completamente attrezzata, la cucina vanta anche una zona pranzo con vista sul giardino. Apri le porte-finestre sul patio e troverai un'area salotto all'aperto per rilassarti e goderti la vita all'aria aperta.

Un ripostiglio appena fuori dalla cucina contenente un congelatore e lavatrice si trova anche accanto al guardaroba al piano di sotto.

Il salone è adiacente alla cucina e ha di nuovo porte francesi che si aprono sul giardino. Il salone è completo di un bruciatore di tronchi per le serate più fresche. È inoltre possibile trovare una smart TV con Netflix e catchup TV.

Al piano superiore si trovano 2 camere da letto, la camera da letto principale ha un letto king size di lusso e la seconda camera ha due letti singoli che possono essere convertiti in un letto king size su richiesta.

Situato sull'isola di Purbeck (non proprio un'isola ma una penisola sulla costa del Dorset), a breve distanza in auto da molte spiagge locali, è il luogo perfetto per rilassarsi e godersi il clima generalmente più caldo della costa meridionale. Parcheggio per un'auto adiacente al cottage.

This cottage is superb. Lovely and cosy, spotlessly clean, very nicely finished and very comfortable. Location is fantastic for all the local sights. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Cosy cottage was excellent, the newly built or refurbished property which is ideal for all your needs, comfort, full of all the necessary amenities and locally enough for visiting days out. My only gripe was the washing machine door been stuck i had to call the owner to walk me through the unlocking process!!

Fantastic cottage at the gateway to the Isle of Purbeck, just what we were looking for. The cottage and facilities were as described and even exceeded our high expectations. The check in via the key safe was simple and efficient and the standard of the kitchen equipment was very high indeed. Many comments in the guest book mentioned repeat visits and we can see why. The owners were very responsive to questions and nothing was too much trouble.The village pub has a good selection of beers, friendly staff and a good menu. Whilst the short walk into Wareham is easy (even for us old timers) and has a good selection of pubs, tea rooms and restaurants. We were lucky to drop on one of the Wareham Wednesday family evening with stalls, bands and fireworks, that run through August.An added bonus was the good bus service with stops just outside which gave us options to explore without the car.

Wir sind mit hohen Erwartungen angereist und waren nach wenigen Minuten ernüchtert: Müll nicht geleert, Haare im Bett, tote Fliegen, untere Toilette schmutzig, Müllbehälter defekt, Tisch nicht abgewischt, Krümel in der Mikrowelle, ein sehr schmutziges Handtuch, alte Handtücher wurden scheinbar hängengelassen, Blumen (welche offensichtlich nicht für uns waren) standen in einem Rest Brakwasser. Hier war wahrscheinlich nicht gereinigt worden?Auch der Router funktionierte erst nach einem Neustart. Eigentlich war die Wohnung toll eingerichtet es war alles da was man braucht. Aber der erste Eindruck hat es leider kaputt gemacht.

A very comfortable stay and very well equipped. We could not want for any thing more, wonderfully quiet. The location is also very good, close to Studland, Corfe, Swanage, Durlston Country Park, Worth Matravers. We walked a lot. In addition, the hosts were very generous with essentials in the fridge when we arrived.

A super cottage in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet, warm cottage. It is in a great location. We walked into Wareham, where we had a good meal at The Old Granary. We had a meal at The Kings Arms, a few minutes walk from the cottage, which was superb. We spent two days at RSPB Arne, which is only a short drive away.

A really nice property in a quiet setting

We stayed for a week as a couple and were very pleased with the overall layout of the cottage, it’s location in the village with the pub/restaurant 200 metres away and Wareham itself just a 10 minute walk. Set in a quiet corner, it was a great base to explore the many attractions in the area. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked with essentials (and some goodies). In fact, the description in the listing is all but 100% accurate. A nice change! One we definitely recommend and will stay at again.

Friends weekend away

Just a few words of thanks for our stay at Tanners Cottage , it was an absolute delight,we couldn't have asked for more , beautifully clean, so comfortable and provided all we needed for our weekend away together .. Great location, the short walk to pub which was friendly, walked into Wareham with lots of little shops,quayside, markets and plant of places to eat and drink fabulous. Can't wait until we book another stay at Tanners Cottage!

A great vacation home

Splendid location for peaceful stay

Good sized cottage that you could actually live in. Excellent location for nearby amenities. Very quiet and peaceful. I would return to Tanners Cottage if staying in the area.

Fantastic stay in a lovely cottage in a great location

We loved our stay inTanners Cottage. It was super clean, and beautifully furnished and comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics and more, plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots/pans, spices, foil, cling film, tea, etc, etc. We were welcomed with delicious locally made sourdough bread and butter, jam, biscuits, milk, and more! A week of rainy weather curtailed our walks, but the comfy cottage, unique Wareham shops and local made the holiday special. The Kings Arms in Stoborough is 5 minutes walk away and has great gin and beer. And The Salt Pig in Wareham has an amazing deli selection to bring home, as well as fresh local fish and cheese. The garden and patio could do with attention, as they both have weeds and the patio could use a power wash. But that is a small thing, if I'm being picky.
