“We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. “The Dewberry is ideally located to explore Charleston. It’s walking distance to most places within town and close to some great restaurants, bars and museums. The rooftop bar and the ground floor bar at the Dewberry are top notch. The Ordinary and Prohibition are two great restaurants close to the hotel. The staff were great and hospitality was top notch. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely look to book the hotel again the next time I am in Charleston. ”

“I loved the older feel to the space. The food was excellent. My only complaint is that when we first arrived, our toilet was not flushing properly. We addressed this with the front desk and they immediately sent someone to fix the toilet which then worked perfectly for the rest of our stay. Right across from the farmers market and many nearby shops and coffee.”
