“Great location , short walk to 2 local pubs so no shortage of food and drink in the place or locally. Room nice and clean , service good , it was a last minute booking as our car had broken down and was put in a local garage, so couldn’t get home , so didn’t get chance to use the facilities as we had no extra clothes etc , but would come back and stay again hopefully under better circumstances”

“I arrived late and the host had taken steps to make sure that I wasn't locked out. The room I had was large and I could have had my own kitchen setup if I was staying longer. In the morning I was greated by friendly host and I was offered a free continental breakfast. ”

“Comfortable room with loads of space (club room). My only gripe was the breakfast, sort of half a full English with half of the hot stuff being luke warm. Otherwise the hotel is fab, staff are super helpful, rooms are nice and clean and beds are very comfy! ”

“The staff, bar area and room were excellent. However the bed was the worst I have ever attempted to sleep on, at one point in the night I was convinced the floor maybe softer. I achieved about 2 hours of sleep on the mattress and woke up in pain. ”

“The hotel area smelt of curry and beer with sticky floors, which was not a good start. The person at reception was confused why I was there, then realised I was the last person they were expecting. When I did get a key, there was silence before I asked where the rooms were. The bathroom smelt mouldy (which it was), the shower plumbing needed to be cleared as it was blocked, and the sink plug locked in place. The steps down to the fire escape had 'stuff' stored on them and at ground level more...
