“Like stepping into the past! I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this classic 1920s lodge from the moment I walked through the inviting lobby filled with leather sofas and a roaring fire, with 1940s swing music playing. The location is perfect -- I had a beautiful view of the lake, and you can easily walk to trails. I had a big, beautiful porcelain tub in the bathroom, which was great for a long soak in the tub. I suppose not great for people who like showers, so ask about that when you book...

“The pictures r deceiving...the staff was semi helpful...but our concerns n issues were not fixed the first time...ran out of propane..the appliances didnt work...propane canister switched...the stove n fireplace worked for a little..we went to beach..came back n they were not working again..bathroom extremely cramped..had to sit sideways on toilet..n couldn't shut bathroom door...our loft was super cramped..the pictures r deceiving...we had to army crawl to the bed...”

“This property was absolutely immaculate! From the moment we opened the door and stepped inside, my jaw hit the floor. The home was beautiful, but the breathtaking views across the water truly stole the show. Watching both the sunset and sunrise was absolutely magical. The entire surrounding area was so peaceful and quiet, and seeing deer wandering around made the experience feel even more special. “If you’re looking for a rustic experience in the woods this one has all the charm of an old time lodge. Lots of things in the shared main room to explore with puzzles and games to spend a cozy night in.”

“We had a group of six adults, three kids (ages 2, 6, and 12), and two dogs. This house was the perfect fit for us. The kids loved the arcade games and bunk bed, and the adults loved the pool table, card table, hot tub, and sauna. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms/bathrooms were clean. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as pots/pans/etc. went, and the island was amazing. I wish my house had that big of an island! The host was fantastic with communication. We'd definitely stay here...
