Welcome to the heart of the Bloomingdale neighborhood in DC! Our flat has an excellent Walk Score of 94/100 (per Zillow), making it a true walker’s paradise with easy access to great food, entertainment, and shopping. The Shaw Metro station is less than a 12-minute walk, and the Convention Center is just a 5-minute drive. DC is also very bike-friendly, with several Capital Bikeshare stations nearby. Lyft and Uber are readily available throughout the city.
Getting here: If you’re flying into DCA, the easiest option during rush hours is taking the Yellow Line directly to Shaw Metro Station, or using a taxi, Uber, or Lyft. If you arrive at IAD or BWI, a taxi, Uber, or Lyft is the most convenient way to reach our home. If you’re arriving Union Station by bus or train, take the Red Line to Gallery Place/Chinatown, then transfer to the Green or Yellow Line to Shaw Station.
Parking: One on-site EV parking space is included at the back of our home and can accommodate a mid-size sedan or SUV.
For additional parking, street parking is available. Green zones have a 2-hour limit during weekday daytime hours, and red zones are permit-only. The nearby Giant supermarket offers a public underground garage for approximately $30 per business day. Independent third-party parking options may also be available through the SpotHero app. Additional parking details will be provided before check-in.
• We are located on the first to third floor of a 3-story townhouse with an Garden Basement. You must be able to climb stairs.
• The Garden Basement level is a separate rental unit and may be occupied by other guests or available for rent together.

• Guests located within a 50-mile radius of Washington, D.C. require pre-approval before booking. Reservation made without pre-approval will be subject to cancellation per guest`s Cancellation Policy.
• Guest must complete pre-arrival ID verification including damage protection selection via our digital guest portal
• No parties, pre-games, or events. Visitors are limited to one to two close friends or family members.
• DC Noise Ordinance: Quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM Monday to Sunday. It`s the law!
• Speakers are prohibited from being used to play loud music at any time, including outdoors.
• Shoes are not permitted inside the house.
• Indoor smoking is prohibited; a fine of $300 per night will be imposed.
• Additional overnight guests beyond the reservation will incur a fee of $30 per person per night.
• Unauthorized late checkouts past 11:00 AM will incur a fee of $100 per extra hour to cover the cost of cleaning delay.
• Any mess left behind that requires a deep cleaning will result in a fee of $200 to cover the cost of additional cleaning.
