The Monroe is a four-bedroom house on a rowhouse block in Mount Pleasant, kept for nine.

The bathrooms & kitchen are hand-troweled plaster. The main bedroom sleeps under a mural of trees that runs the width of the wall. The furniture is classic in shape and modern in everything else, and none of it came off a pallet.

A parking space of your own, a yard with a grill, coffee worth getting up for, and a washer and dryer in the house.

Willow keeps a small number of houses and keeps them properly.

The main floor — up one flight from the entry — is one long room: a fireplace, then a table that seats eight, then the kitchen with a breakfast bar. Off it, a queen bedroom and a powder room, so one couple gets a floor of their own.

Upstairs are the other three: the main bedroom with a king, its own bath and a tub; a second queen room; and a bunk room with a queen below and a full XL above. The hall bath up there has the walk-in shower and a two-sink vanity.

There is a dedicated desk, and a full-size washer and dryer in the house.

Honest notes. Two full baths and a powder room between nine people: mornings work, but nobody gets a bathroom to themselves. This is a rowhouse — steps up to the front door, a staircase from the entry to the main floor, and another up to the bedrooms. There is no lift. One parking space is guaranteed; a second car takes the street.

Self check-in with a smart lock — your code is the last four digits of the phone number on your booking, live from 4 PM on the day you arrive. We`re a message away and usually reply within the hour; a person can come by if something needs fixing.

Parking: one dedicated space comes with the house. A second car can usually find street parking on the block — check the signs for residential permit hours.

Stairs: there are steps up to the front door, then a staircase from the entry foyer up to the main floor, and another to the bedrooms.
No Big Events: Please refrain from hosting large gatherings or parties on the premises. Our home is intended for personal use.

No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property.

No Pets: We have a no-pet policy to accommodate guests with allergies and to maintain a clean environment. We appreciate your understanding.

Quiet Hours: To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests and our neighbors, we kindly request that you keep noise levels to a minimum after 10:00 PM.
