“This was a wonderful place to stay. Location was perfect for visiting different parts of the Detroit Metro area being close to both I-75 and Woodward Ave. The unit itself is super cute and has a nice urban flair. We enjoyed a GREAT breakfast in the diner across the street. We wished we had more time to explore downtown Royal Oak as there were a lot of cute shops and restaurants in walking distance.There were a few issues checking in that appeared to be be faults in the Vrbo system. “The apartment was not clean. Even after I sent pictures he did not believe me. The place didn’t even have toilet paper! Since we were stuck and had no choice we cleaned the bathroom, stripped the bed and washed the sheets and ran the vacuum. Told owner and he said he had pics from the cleaner that were dated stamped after she cleaned. My pictures were date stamped as well. So he sent her back to “clean”.
