Photos are accurate. The area is quiet and peaceful. Kitchen well stocked and everything as described. The kitchen cupboards and drawers don't have knobs to open them so sometimes that was tricky but not a deal breaker.Owner responsive and communication open and easy for a couple of things that came up during our stay. I believe we resolved to both our satisfaction.

Beautiful home in a picturesque setting, secluded and perfect for quality time with family. Great set up for cooking whether in kitchen or on the grill. Beach toys, kayaks, and shallow, calm water makes this an ideal stay for young kids.

Wonderful location (very close to downtown Niantic); clean, bright, beautiful home; well appointed kitchen overall; loved gate at top of stairs, rail for bottom bunk and high chair since I have a toddler; owner was very responsive, kind and helpful when needed. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

We had a lovely week in Jordan Cove at the Reed House. The home is very kid friendly (our kids ranged from 1.5-7) and the toddler items available (pack n play, baby gates, high chair) and beach items (toys, chairs) were so helpful (less to pack!). The beach out back was perfect for our littles- so many sand bars and areas to explore. Lots of families in the neighborhood were enjoying this area. The house was super clean, and the back deck amazing for morning coffee and a good book. The area is close to so many nearby attractions including Harkness Park, Seaside State Park, Waterford town beach, Niantic, Mystic, & more. The host Garon was extremely helpful & responsive. Our kids didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend!

Great spot at Pleasure Beach

Great patio! Loved having easy water access with short walk to beach. We tend to cook more and eat in than some vacationers and the kitchen was well-equipped. We especially enjoyed walking out in low tide and swimming in the little cove. The real beach was a short walk for lovely sand and clearer water. The host was available and answered questions promptly. A great location, close to Niantic and to Waterford.

Incredible Stay

The house was perfect for our family of four on a vacation back in my hometown. Couldn’t find a better location. Garon was such an accommodating host, everything was super easy. 10/10 and hope to be back again next summer.

We had a great week! The house was perfect for us - 2 families with 4 kids total. The kids loved having a sleepover every night in the bunk bed room. The kitchen had everything we needed for the few nights we cooked/grilled. The beach was an easy 5 minute walk and was never very busy. The cove in the backyard provided a beautiful view and tons of entertainment for the kids (recommended water shoes). Thanks for a great week!

Great little spot

Nice clean place. Great Central Air and nice comfortable space. The beach and sand bars are fun to explore. It's on a quite dead end with a nice deck overlooking the water with propane grill. The dock is a nice touch, but can't swim off of it. But the beach is a very short walk right next door. Short walk to boat ramp and fishing off the rocks.

Beautiful house and location!

We had the best time! The house was great and the little bay was wonderful for exploring and swimming. Our kids spent every day splashing and trying to catch stuff with their nets. The area is so nice and peaceful. The host was very friendly and responsive.

Great Family Stay

Great communication with owner throughout the planning process. House was well appointed and clean. Location was amazing. We enjoyed lots of time out in the cove, on foot and in the 3 provided kayaks. We also loved watching the scenery change as the tide went in and out. One thing to note: you cannot use the north end of Pleasure Beach, a membership is required and we were asked to leave. You must remain on the south end. We decided hanging out in the cove was more fun anyways. Would absolutely stay again.
Outside hoses and showers made clean up a breeze.

relaxing stay with picturesque scenery

We booked this house for early September, the weather was still very warm with cool mornings and nights. Three of the four morning we stayed a bald eagle landed right outside during low tide. Very close to Niantic with great food, shops, parks, and beaches. the parks in Conn are great for little or adults, there is a rich history with many monuments throughout. The house was very accommodating, anything you would bring to the beach is supplied for you. Garon the house manager was also very helpful in suggestion of dinning and making sure everything was great. Would suggest this house to anyone!

Trip to visit family in Connecticut

Very nice and comfortable stay. Easy walk to Pleasant Beach and boat launch. The kids had a blast getting blue crabs right off the back of the property. We all loved sitting on the back deck having our morning cup of coffee.

Amazing Stay

I have rented numerous homes along the coast of CT. This was one of the best. The house has a great floor plan and there is ample parking rarely found at beach properties (Garage space and room for up to 5 more normal size cars if you block in the garage). The rear deck is huge. The kitchen is large and well configured There is a dock to launch the kyaks. Although there is not directly beach front, you just walk to the left of the property and you are out on a small beach that no one else really uses and is awesome or walk 5 minutes to the big beach. The property manager is very responsive and the reservation process is easy. I highly recommend it.

Mother/Daughter weekend

We loved the home and location. It was the perfect place to hunker down for the weekend. The gas fireplace made our stay warm and cozy. The views of the water and wildlife were relaxing as we had our mother/daughter time together.

Beautiful and comfortable home!

Our stay was great, I booked this last minute as our previous booking fell through 1 day before our stay. We got lucky! This house was better than where we originally planned on staying. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and everything needed. The views are beautiful! We were so thrilled with this visit and would love to come back

Perfect Waterfront Getaway

We normally stay in Niantic for spur of the moment weekend getaways, but decided to go for a waterfront property this time. The house was immaculate, plenty of room, and steps away from a small beach. Sunsets were beautiful, and the whole stay was exactly what we needed to recharge. Garon was friendly, available, and attentive. We would definitely stay here again.
