It is about 10 mins or so south of SJ downtown and beaches but I was born and raised in SJ so understood this before booking. “Such a beautiful property!! And close to town with a secluded feel. Marc was the nicest and goes above and beyond for his guests. He has thought of every detail. Also had a welcoming gift for us. We had a rain day and loved just staying in and enjoying the rental. He sent a ton of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Made himself easy to contact but we had zero issues.This property is a must stay and we will return.”

“The Whiskey Run Lodge was amazing - even better than the pictures! Three families (6 adults) - plenty of room for all to relax and enjoy. The house is very well-stocked with everything you need. The amenities are awesome! Perfect location: 10 minute drive to downtown South Haven and 10 minute walk to Covert Beach. Host is very responsive and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough and hope to return someday!”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Dorothy very much. It was like being home away from home. The host was easily available to help with any questions. It was clean, well supplied with everything we might need and then some. Everything we wanted to do was within 5 to 10 miles away. It was a quiet neighborhood, well maintained, and very comfortable. Lots of games and things to do in the basement and TVs in the bedrooms and living room. All in all, it was perfect.”
