“Very nice building, in a central position. You can easily walk to all the destinations in Wrexham and/or easily get to the train station and bus station. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, perfectly cooked and served. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. Hugely recommended if you’re planning to visit Wrexham.”

“The bathroom had mold. The ceiling tiles are broken. The room really needs a refurb. The main door is broken and sometimes doesn't open or opens very slowly. I've stayed at much better maintained premier inns in the past so this was a huge disappointment.”

“Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.”

“It was a nice place and clean until we pulled the sofa bed out and it was dirty, a quick hover wouldn't have done it any harm. Overall its a nice place to stay, we did try and phone the numbers given to inform of the condition of the sofa bed however not one number was answered, we ended up getting the caretaker, who was 100% helpful”

The place is a joy to stay at set in a beautiful area, well located to amenities, very quiet, no noise or hassle from owners, well equipped internally, good internet, easy parking, comfy bed, great kitchen and bathroom and great value for money. “The room wasn’t bad, and nothing was inherently bad. It was relatively clean. Although, the bath panel was off, the room smelt damp, there was no hot water, the bath mat was mouldy. ”
