“Feel as if we were put in a room that they started to convert into maybe a studio but never finished. The 2nd bed had been removed and was large open space with nothing. Only place to sit was one desk chair. I'm 5'4" and I had to jump up to get onto the bed which was rather strange. There were no USB ports to charge phones/laptops and my side of the bed did not have any outlets; my husbands side of the bed had an outlet that could be utilized but not convenient. “I was very impressed with the hotel- excellent value for money and good location. This is a hsitorical hotel. Does feel dated but has charm. Maybe needs a little more TLC. Howver, the room and bathroom are updated and very comfortable. The quality of the bedding was superb. My bathroom was spacious and the towels full and fluffy. “The room was clean & comfortable. The stairs & porch needed cleaning. The room had no cup/glass for teeth brushing. Also it’s is above a coffee shop, but they don’t open on Saturday till 8 & 7 on weekdays, and there’s no in room coffee. I really needed morning coffee, but didn’t get it.”

“The location was perfect with shops and restaurants nearby and a bus stop right outside the door. The room was clean but the pillows were really lumpy and not at all comfortable. My biggest complaint is that there wasn’t anywhere to store our clothes. A dresser or even a couple of shelves deep enough to hold folded clothes would have been a helpful addition. For more than a day or two it’s hard to live out of your suitcases”
