Welcome to Trehytte Cabin! Amazing scenic views, mature tree privacy and tons of windows make this spacious home the perfect Northwoods retreat for friends or family.
Great location, minutes away from Rib Mountain retail stores and restaurants while being located on Granite Peak Ski Hill with hiking trails and all sorts of outdoor recreation right out the front door.
Explore Granite Peak Ski Resort! Provides year-round fun for people of all ages, with a wide range of activities from scenic lift rides in the summer to premier skiing in the winter. If you are looking for more ways to get your adrenaline pumping, Nine Mile Forest is just a few minutes away with miles of mountain biking, snowshoeing and cross-country trails.
This premier ski property is just a short drive away from the top of the mountain where you can park your car and ski down. It also makes a quick and easy drive down to the home at the end of the day without having to deal with general parking at the ski resort (this property is not ski-in, ski-out). After a long day of adventuring the mountain, enjoy a fire in the outdoor firepit, cozy up to the pellet stove fireplace, or relax in the large 8-person outdoor hot tub and enjoy the stars!

We loved the area, being set in a wooded location and so close to hiking at Rib Mtn. We were lucky with excellent weather to be outside enjoying and exploring. The hot tub was a wonderful perk! The house was roomy and comfortable.

This place is outstanding.I booked it for a fantasy football draft weekend as a good location for Wisconsin and Minnesota college friends (we're all in our early 50s now).We played golf at Indianhead in Mosinee and we went out for a couple of meals, but otherwise, we really never left.Comfortable, clean, well maintained, and now that we're all grown-ups, we left it exactly as we found it.GREAT cottage - must be unbelievable in ski season.

Perfect End of ski season retreat

Ski Weekend in Wausau

Our group had a great time staying here. There was a large table that accommodated all of us for games and meals. The hot tub was a huge hit. The kitchen was well stocked and had really large refrigerator. There was lots of space for everyone to spread out too.the large windows showed all of the beautiful trees.

Perfect place for a weekend trip

Beautiful and well maintained place, exactly as shown in the pics. Kari and Ivan responded to all our queries and gave suggestions on things to do around the place. The location is awesome, fun things to do around if you like nature.

Cool and cozy!

The place is huge and beds are comfy and on the firmer side which i like. Very clean and organized. Loved all of the amenities :) One shower wasn't draining well, it drained but SO SLOW. Let the owners know, hopefully they'll look into that for the next guests! One thing we all agreed on was the seating by the TV. Could use some improvement there for chilling with lots of people as you can fit a lot of people for sleeping but when we all wanted to watch a movie, most of us had to lay on the floor on pull a chair from the dining table. Love the sunroom and all the seating options!
