“The house is advertised as the best handicapped house in the OBX. We concur this is absolutely correct. The ramp up to the main living floor was very convenient for unloading your vehicle. Everything on the main living floor was accessible including the dock. The location is next to Hatteras Watersports where jet skis and kayaks were available for rent - very convenient! The owners were very responsive to any needs/concerns. For sure, the house rates a 5 star! We look forward to going back!”

“The place is just as advertised, clean and well-maintained. I got there at dark in the rain, so it was a bit hard to find amongst the other modulars in the cul-de-sac, but the host provided detailed directions which made the search much easier lol. Jonathan is responsive and provides all the last minute things you might forget for your stay, such as sunblock, water bottles, and even dog dishes for your furry co-pilot, so you can focus on hitting the beach once you get there :)”

“Our family of 5 visited the OBX for 2 nights.The house was what I expected from the listing. Well decorated in coastal themes. The host was very responsive to my questions and suggestions. Just a short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.”

“Very clean with some maintenance issues. The dryer did not work, sliding door locks did not work on any of the doors. Piece of ceiling was falling in one of the bedrooms. The worst part was the dryer did not work though. Overall a nice house.”

“Cute comfy home feel. Fun beach decorations throughout. If you're stuck inside because of the rain like we were you will have plenty to keep you occupied with the absolutely comprehensive collection of books, DVDs and streaming availability. Although there is a wonderfully stocked kitchen there was no tea/coffee! Kind of puzzling because there's a kettle and coffee maker. Would love to stay again and hopefully it won't rain!”

“We enjoyed our stay The house clean and presented like the photos. There are a few minor repairs needed. The stove top cooks on high all the time. Corner cabinets doors in the kitchen are coming off the hinges, blinds in the master bedroom and bath on the first floor are incomplete, table in master up stairs is broken and the dryer takes two cycles to dry anything, There is limited large pans for cooking for a larger group, number of towels provided are enough for a day so your doing laundry...

“We had the best week at Always Remember. It was a breeze walking straight onto the beach and having the house right there to make lunch or take a break from the sun. We brought our dog with us, and it was so nice to be able to let him out throughout the day. The house was extremely clean and was the perfect set up for us! The hosts were so welcoming and available if we needed them, loved the lists of local spots they provided. We plan to return next year!”

“Very relaxing stay. Loved the home, beach, waves, and loved being able to bring our 5# dog. Had an issue with hot tub on first night and immediately the Host sent someone to assist-thats great hosting. Was very quiet during our time here over Thanksgiving. Just what was needed 😀”

Pam went out of her way to make our stay memorable with special touches like pastry delivery from a local bakery to recommendations for activities. The house is beautiful and super pet friendly with just a short walk to the beach. In a word, OUTSTANDING”

“On our way down, the owner contacted us to tell us that the previous guest had broken the stove. They asked if it was ok to come replace it and they compensated us with lunch for interrupting our visit, which was not necessary, but grateful for the awesome pizza! They are extremely friendly and it was a great location. The kids loved all of the different rooms and especially the loft and balconies. If ever in the Outer Banks again, we will definitely reach out to them.”

The hot tub is awesome, and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. You can easily walk to a few nearby restaurants and shops! We would stay at the Tropicana Cabana again!”
