“Room was larger than expected. Instead of one king bed and a fold-out sofa that was expected, there was a second sleeping area with another queen bed. Very comfortable and well suited to three of us staying there. Would definitely go back. Convenient to Oregon Shakespeare Festival which is why we were there.”

“Pretty dirty was run down. The owner stays on the property but looks homeless. He is nice but super sketchy. He cleans the rooms. Goes through the trash cans just all over weird. I wouldn’t take kids here it was super unsafe. Not worth the money”

“Solid stay. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked great. The layout of the bathroom was a little strange with the sink in the bedroom, but the shower worked great.”

“The room was clean, the beds comfortable. We arrived just as the front desk clerk was leaving. She graciously stayed and checked us in. The desk is unmanned after 9 pm. Our key was under the mat for our room. It would have been nice if the air conditioning had been turned on. It was 90+ degrees and the room didn't cool down until early morning.”

“The room was very clean, something as a former maid I always look for. Staff was very helpful. We loved the soaps and staff was great about finding which particular soap brand used and even a store location for us. Motel was quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchenette was perfect for our needs, we didn't plan to cook any meals but morning tea and coffee were much appreciated. “We booked and paid for a room online only to get to the hotel at 10 pm and have them tell us they didn't have a room for us. We had to call around and find another hotel, then spend another 90 minutes on the phone trying to get my money back..”

“The staff went out of their way to be helpful and the breakfast was simple but with delicious yogurt and exceptional coffee. The pool area showed its age and had some warped wood on the walls.”

“Was there to pick up my daughter from SOU. Location is good. Place is clean, though nothing special. Fine for an overnight stay with no plans to do anything in the room except sleep.”

“Our stay, as always, was wonderful! Our room was comfortable and clean, and we love the afternoon treats delivered to our room. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and you can’t beat the daily breakfasts. We also enjoy at least one delicious dinner at Alchemy, which always impresses. It’s an easy walk to shows during OSF and downtown shops and restaurants. We look forward to our return.”

“Lovely property hidden in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to downtown and Oregon Shakespeare Theatre. Could use a quieter bathroom fan but all else good!”

“We stayed in the upper appartment. The place is beautiful, comfortable, quite, and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The balcony overlooks a beautiful garden patio. The location is a short walking distance to Ashlands' center with its theaters, coffee shops and restaurants. Steve, our host, was welcoming, bery communicative and accessible. Our stay was perfect.”

“Jewel at the front desk was great. She has a warm smile and demeanor, and really makes you feel welcome. Property is pet friendly which is one of the reasons we chose the hotel. Parking is limited and first come first serve. Street parking was easy to find, but I imagine it would be a problem in peak season or weekends. Breakfast room has a balcony terrace that overlooks a beautiful garden and creek area.”
