The Space:
Wellfleet, Cape Cod, is known around the world for its Oysters. But this summer, you will know it for the relaxing vacation you’ll love at Treetop Aerie. Nestled among the beautiful beach forest of the Outer Cape, this private oasis will be sure to bring relaxation to your summer. Less than ten minutes from Wellfleet Harbor, you can experience the freshest possible seafood, or watch the fisherman haul in the catch of the day, a unique experience in the heart of Wellfleet. Classic Cape Cod wooden shingles adorn the exterior of this charming Wellfleet abode, welcoming visitors onto a deck perfect for late night entertaining, or relaxing under the stars. Enter through sliding glass doors, as high beamed ceilings tower over the dining and living rooms. Across the hall, the fully equipped kitchen is ready for treats to be made to take to the water. After jumping in the ocean at Marconi Beach, just a short drive away, guests can enjoy relaxing in the spacious living room.

This three bedroom, two bathroom home comfortably sleeps six, with the bedrooms and bathrooms split among both floors of the two-story home. The first floor houses a nice bedroom, complete with a cozy Queen size bed, as well as the first of two full bathrooms, with a shower/tub combo. On the second floor, the second and third bedrooms sit. One bedroom has a queen size bed, with the other having two twin beds, perfect for the kids to hang out in after a long day at the beach.

The perfect dog friendly escape is great for your furry friend who loves to explore both the beach forests and coast of the Cape. A short 0.8 mile walk to Old Wharf Point, you can explore the waters with the two kayaks, available at the home for your use.
Other amenities include a washer and dryer, a spacious outdoor shower, and a fun Game Room with Foosball, Air Hockey & Ping Pong. Come enjoy all Wellfleet has to offer, among the trees, at Treetop Aerie.

Relaxing in Wellfleet

We loved many things about this property. Very clean. Great outdoor space. Lots of fun games. Great communication with the management company. However, the house interior feels awkward (can't open the back door if the fridge is open; the door to the deck from the dining room is practically useless), the common areas are all tile and hardwood, making the space cacophonous, and much of the lighting is harsh (lots of bare bulbs disguised as lamps). There's not a lot of warmth or coziness to the interior space. But, again, it was very clean, in a great location, had an enjoyable outdoor space, the beds were comfy, and we very much enjoyed our time there. It just has the potential to be much more than it currently is.

Nice stay

The house was very nice and had all the comforts we wanted, as well as some fun games in the unfinished basement such as ping pong and foosball. It is a little strange that the front door opens into the unfinished basement and then you go upstairs to get into the main house, which is very nice and comfortable, although more lighting and fixing the doors to get out onto the deck would be helpful. The location is nice with the walk to the bay and a short drive to downtown Wellfleet and the National Seashore. We were somewhat disappointed that the kayaks were not at the bay as advertised and discussed by email exchange before our trip, but to their credit the management company provided kayak carts partway through our stay so we could get the kayaks down to the bay. Overall this was a nice house.

Easy and Comfortable

I have been renting on the Cape for more than 30 years and this house and Del Mar Vacations was the best. I am an ocean beach person so I cannot comment on the bayside beach but the house was the BEST equipped of any house I've stayed in. There were some minor issues including not knowing how to get the AC turned on. No problem. A simple phone call to Del Mar brought attentive and in one case, instant solutions. I am an avid cook and the kitchen was so well supplied with spices and pots and pans and even a knife sharpener - also every type of coffee maker possible. Lovely, quiet neighborhood, close to great restaurants and beaches. Will rent there again. Loved all the games and puzzles and the neighborhood rooster.

Great Wellfleet spot

Just as advertised, this place is comfortable, clean, and has a well appointed kitchen if you like to cook. Close to everything on Outer Cape and the available kayaks were great as well!
