“Really quirky and comfortable B&B with the most amazing hosts. We were made to feel so welcome and Anna makes the best ever homemade cookies! My friend is gluten and dairy free and Iain and Anna could not have been more accommodating. Excellent breakfast, comfy and very clean rooms. Sorry we only stayed one night! ”

“Bed & Breakfast pulitissimo, camera ampia (quella in cui ho soggiornato io, almeno) e bagno altrettanto, ottimo comfort, finiture e mobilio di qualità, recenti ed in ottimo stato. “We had a great time. Staff were great (mostly) and really helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent, my wife and I loved every dish. The bar was well stocked with some great (and favourite) scotch so that was a bonus. We arrived Friday and left Sunday and on the Saturday we had a late lunch which was lovely, sat outside in the garden with the local church in view. “Sofisticated elegant clean and very comfortable. Beautiful rooms with extra lounge rooms with second TV. Lovely showers. Breakfast was simple but fresh well presented and clean. “Friendly staff”

“Expedia should be ashamed to charge for accommodation in what was a hostel for vagrants. During the period that access was unavailable to us, a neighbour told us that the Hamilton was used to house council-sent people, and we saw three such unfortunate people waiting to enter. My wife was frightened by the property when access was eventually gained, describing it as being like her idea of a prison, and I found it forbidding and inhospitable. “The staff were great, the rooms were lovely, and the only thing that let the place down was actually other guests who changed the controls on the toaster, to the degree that the rest of my breakfast went cold while I put my bread through 3 times, and then gave up - resulting in cold breakfast, stewed, cold tea, hard bread instead of toast - apparently it's an ongoing problem, which the staff perhaps need to monitor a bit more closely.”

“This hotel is great for the location to the cathedral but i am afraid this the breakfast was the only great thing about it. All the staff we encountered were lovely but this hotel is tired and run down. We had a deluxe room but there was nothing deluxe about it apart from a balcony with a view but the balcony was dirty and there was no chairs to sit out on. “The location of the hotel is perfect , literally on the doorstep of Lincoln Cathedral and the castle.
