Rooms are cozy and compact.Comfy bed and crisp sheets. Nice continental breakfast,although I'm sure there is less variety than our last visit .No pastries. Also snacks included appear less (only sweets) Windows are very dirty and the shower fixings weren't secure in our room . Good price for central location.

Nice Hotel with good location. Had only a brief encounter with a staff member when leaving who was very nice. I had a room with a King size bed but more a Queen, I think. Room was perfect for 1 person, maybe 2 people find it a tad small. Overall, a nice boutique hotel, extremely clean and a good location.

When we drew up at the hotel i was a bit disappointed as the area is quite shabby. However when we entered the hotel it was lovely. Very modern and very clean. The room itself was very well equipped. Dishwaher, microwave, washer and drier. The location iis excellent. Within easy distance of st James theatre, te Papa and the waterfront and courtney place. Highly recommend.

This is a great little place to stay. Unfortunately renovations in next building can be very loud not hotel’s fault at all. The hotels upstairs gym also echos through And is open 24/7 . Other than that this is a great place to stay. Staff are very helpful and friendly

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was modern and stylish. It had everything we needed and more as there were complementary treats in the room. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet with road noise only audible if you went out on to the balcony and even then it was no problem at all. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is obviously basic but very good. The location is excellent. We highly recommend this hotel.

The Executive Suite was great value for 4 - 2 brm, 2 bthm was excellent... central to harbour, restaurants & Cuba St with a supermarket close so we could cook our own breakfast. Would go there again.

Ask for a window which lets daylight in.
Nice building and very convenient location. Stylish decor and nice bathrooms. Take care what room you get. Some have windows looking directly into other rooms on all sides with virtually no natural light. See photo. Apparently this is in same cost category as rooms with a window that actually lets daylight in! Complimentary breakfast was welcomed though couldn’t quite cope with numbers of guests so keep running out of places to sit and food items.

I had the most delightful stay. I loved the design and aesthetic of the whole place, especially the bathroom, loved the black and white tiles and also the waterfall AND removable shower heads. The whole room was clean, soft, and comforting after some long days at work. Really appreciated the mink blanket on the bed. The check in and out was simple, clear, and easy. The lady was super lovely and helpful. Thank you very much. I will most definitely be staying again.

Great hotel in central Wellington
I felt very much at home at TRYP, the hotel is modern and comfortable and I loved the snazzy design. The free breakfast is a really nice touch and the happy hour is a good deal with some good beers available. It’s also in a great location right in the middle of Wellington, making it the ideal place to explore the city from.

Conveniently situated near waterfront
Beautifully presented room, clean and spacious, and very helpful staff. Great position in Wellington near Te Papa and other waterfront activities. An adequate continental style breakfast was provided I was disappointed that the first room had a false window and so I asked to move and the second had a very noisy air conditioning unit.

The room we were assigned to was quite small for two overseas travelers with lots of luggage. When I asked to be moved to a larger room I was told that there weren't any. But when I went on line it showed that there were larger rooms. The staff was fantastic, very helpful. Breakfast was great.

Stayed in the King room. Good to have little kitchenette, and a washer and dryer too. The bed was comfy and room quiet despite road facing. Would stay again.
