“The coffee was lukewarm and weak. The breakfast room was unprepared when it opened and there were no condiments for the oatmeal. Hotel was much nice under the Carlson label. ”

“We booked the room through Expedia, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to cancel our final night's stay. We tried 24+ hours earlier, but were told to do it the next day (as we were leaving). The staff denied our request- we ended up paying for a room we could not use. NOT RIGHT, NOT FAIR! We tried, Expedia tried, crooks!”

“The 1st room had the door open and the room was dirty. They switched rooms and it was missing a shower curtain. There wasn’t continental breakfast as listed and the pool was shut down. The building looking unkept and condemned. The staff was not helpful at all. Said there were new owners and they couldn’t keep up With which rooms were ready.”

“This was my third time staying here, and it continues to be a great experience every time. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was fresh with a good variety of options, and the dining area was always clean and stocked. Parking was easy and convenient, which made the stay even better. It’s always a reliable, comfortable place to stay, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!”

“This wasn't the worst stay I've had, but far from the best experience. The lobby area had coffee and decaf when I checked in but it was cold and not fresh, which was a bit disappointing since the rooms did not have any kind of coffee. The check in process was quick and the staff member was friendly, but wasn't at the desk when I arrived and had nothing to clearly identify her as being a staff member. “My Business partner and I had a wedding close by and decided to drive down the night before. There were no hotels close by and we were desperate for something closer. We are Gypsy Hair Guru, a traveling hair and makeup team that specializes in weddings. Urstad accomadated our late arrival and our early departure. I told them not to worry about breakfast because we were leaving at 6:30am and they still brewed fresh coffee and put out a delicious blueberry muffin bread that was amazing. Thank you...

“The manager and staff were friendly and the room was clean. Property and pool were dark and not well-lit. The room smelled like mildew, which was the biggest downfall. But the place works for a quick overnight while traveling.”
