“I arrived at the property and it was immediately clear that the bedsheets had not been changed. There were muddy paw prints and visible dog hairs all over the bedding. I contacted the host straight away, who offered to change the bedding but insisted it was “clean, just stained” and that this had been missed by the cleaners. “Myself and my Husband have just returned from a 2 night stay in the Stone Room at Cley Windmill and we cannot recommend it highly enough. The room was well appointed, beautifully finished and the private balcony was such a wonderful bonus with amazing views. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. ”
