“The staff were very friendly and helpful, from check in to check out, the breakfast was very nice, plenty of choice and good quality food. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean ..have no complaints. The hotel itself is not easy to find without the use of a satnav, but being in a quiet location and with the comfy bed a good night’s sleep was guaranteed. ”

“Room was very spacious and comfortable. Stayed three nights and corridor always smelled of blocked drains. Car parking excellent,£5 a night.”

“The room itself was pleasant and clean. The staff were helpful. The hotel itself is getting dated and in need of a bit of refurbishment. One major issue, no restaurant. No food available at all, no evening meal, no breakfast, even though breakfast was available when I booked. It could be so much more, set in lovely grounds, quite a nice building, but suffering from a lack of attention to decoration. ”

“The Burlton Inn was excellent for our needs, being halfway home from Southampton to our home for an overnight stop. The pub itself was very attractive, and the local beer was rally good. The accomodation was fine. The rooms were in an adjacent cottage style annexe, just across the large car park. The choice of evening meals was wide, and the food was good. Breakfast was continental only, but very healthy. Would we stay there again? YES! ”
