“Thank you very much to the Helyar Arms team for the warm hospitality, we very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches and breakfast was nicely varied and had plenty of options for guests with gluten and dairy intolerances as well which is by no means a given. “Hotel is in great location, 2’ walk from the cove and close to all walking trails. Parking is easy (£5 per day). View from the balcony was great. Room was big and clean, although quite noisy (old building). Decoration is very charming, ‘beachcomber style’. Very friendly staff. Shower had only warm to hot water. We did not get roomkeeping during our 2 night stay, which is a bit weird in a 4* hotel. We didn’t bother too much and just asked refillments at the bar. Dinner in the restaurant was ok...
